Looking at that picture it appears to be a staged shot. Parked in the dirt, tires clean, wheel well clean and not a spec of dirt on the truck, the tires or the wheels.
just totally random thought there lol
As a dealership employee and Raptor customer (when it finally arrives anyway) I agree with everyone that Ford should do a better job of keeping a customer informed. Yes I know they may not be able to give exact info but at least put some projected reasonable targets out there. Most people...
My truck says under primary "awaiting shipment" but under secondary it say "transportation delay". According to my Ford rep checking on my truck it's waiting for "retrofit".
Our first order that was built 10/14 still shows in production. Apparently some of the Raptors can be built in a day...
Good looking truck! Congrats on getting it already also.
I originally ordered Magnetic and then changed it to avalanche.
Our first reg 3.5 eco with the 10 speed got delivered to us over the weekend. It had a sticker on the window saying it was pulled for quality testing at they put 43...
You are actually lucky to have a later build date. It seems like the trucks built the last couple days of November and on seem to be the ones coming off the line and going right to transportation.
You may have your truck before my first customer gets his truck and it was built on 10/14. You...
Just FYI I called Ford Performance today checking to see if they have any different information as I have through the dealership. I was told my truck was awaiting transportation when in fact it's awaiting transportation but on hold for retrofit. I told the girl I was a dealer and wanted to...
Yes that does. Usually ETA from the time they schedule the tuck is about 6 weeks. So that's a few weeks for the build date and maybe a weeks for transportation.
I called today. They have the exact same info that I have at the dealership. I asked them what source they use for tracking and they use the same source "vehicle visibility" that we do.

Yeah I hear ya...
6 weeks? They don't take that long. We're in Pa and units take about 2, maybe 3 weeks for us. Sure he wasn't talking 6 weeks from the time they get scheduled?
Congratulations Pic18!!!
Obviously i'm jealous. lol
When was your truck built?
As mentioned please give us your thoughts and opinions of the truck good or bad.
I checked our ordering commodity restrictions on Saturday and it wasn't updated yet. It's supposed to be updated some time today. I'll keep an eye out and let you know when it updates.
Usually once your truck is scheduled its about 6 weeks until you'll see it.
We have a used 14' Raptor here now that's Terrain. I sold it to the guy new and have always had mixed thoughts about that color. I agree with gneissday that it looks somewhat like a military desert machine.
Looks like communication between Ford and the dealer. Sounds like bead lock wheels may be done for the rest of the year. That may be a supply issue just like the CF. I'll check into it and report back.
Thanks.
Didn't have time to call until just now and they are closed. Curious if they have any other info than what my Ford rep or I have access to at the dealership level. I can't imagine they do but I want to check. I'll do it Monday
My window sticker shows a build date of 11/23 but my vehicle visibility portal through Ford shows it was built 11/27.
Also I asked my Ford rep again today if she could get me any more precise info on my truck. She said they had gotten a message last week that Ford was shooting for early...
