Well that's not what I expected. How fast were you running? The previous ecoboosts fuel mileage were affected heavily by speed. I'd imagine the larger size of the Raptor and the bigger tires would amplify that affect.

Just FYI this program is not valid on Raptors. Ford calls offers like these "private offers". The ONLY private offer that the Raptor qualifies for is Mobility Motoring. That is a program where Ford will pay a portion of a upfit for a handicapped buyer.

The cover is a dealer installed accessory. When the truck gets built it automatically generates the order for the cover and shipment to the dealer. Unfortunately the delivery of the cover has no relation to when the truck will arrive.

Probably similar to how the MyKey feature works. The PCM recognizes the unique frequency from each particular key and sets the parameters accordingly.

They did the track key on the Boss 302. Run the key with the red center and it runs a map with multiple different parameters. I think the same concept would be perfect for the truck. I think the Track Key was designated as track use only so the Raptor key could be designated as off road use...

BajaFred is correct with how the ordering works. No allocation, no units built. Plain and simple.
