I'm interested also. I've been looking but haven't seen anything. I'm not interested in the typical Ford molded flap I want something more like a large flat flap. Seriously
So it won't let you order a retail unit with CA emissions?
So a CA dealer can sell in your state but you can't sell in theirs? Have you contacted your Ford rep about that? I just can't believe that's the case. Our reps are out until Jan 2nd. I'll have to contact her when shes back and get...
Neither truck has shown up yet.
The 10/14 truck is here in the state on a train. Not sure if it made it to the yard yet. Todays status is still from the 26th.
As of 12/21 my truck is still sitting with "released" status at Ramp 59 No updates since then
I didn't take notice to that but it's normal. For years Ford has slowly increased prices throughout the year. That way at the end of a model year they no longer have to say such and such model will be seeing a 5% or 6% price increase. Now it's like 1 or 2 %.
When you retail order a unit the...
I think they've got the issues figured out. I think the main problem right now is backlog of units and the fact it's the holidays. Almost all of Ford is off for Christmas break until after the new year plus I'm sure the rail and convoy carriers are running with very limited staff due to people...
Probably retail order units. They don't show on our dealer vehicle locator source either.
They don't have to be sold for a dealer to order it as a retail. Normally a retail order unit would get pulled and built before a stock order. I say normally because as we know this isn't necessarily...
Our 1st order truck that was an October build and our 2nd order truck that was a nov build (my truck) were both sitting at Ramp 59. Both trucks got released on 12/17. The 1st order truck shipped out and is in a rail yard here in PA yet my truck as of this monring is still sitting idle at Ramp 59.
Before I posted I went in our ordering system and spec'd a Raptor out with CA emissions just to make sure. I put it in as a retail order which may make a difference.
If that was the case Ford would be telling dealers outside of CA that they can't sell vehicles in CA.
I'm in PA. PA...
The SEMA rebate does not apply to the Raptor. There is a disclosure on the rebate about seeing your dealer for details. This gets you to the dealer and then we have to explain the exclusion.
The ONLY incentive on the Raptor just as any recent previous SVT units is Mobility Motoring. That is...
We are open.
Rail and Convoy work through the holidays. We'll get deliveries by convoy this week. So trucks that are in transit will continue through the transportation process.
What I'm not sure of is the trucks like my truck that are stuck in "released" status. Ford pretty much is...
Man the wait is even tougher seeing people already out enjoying their trucks.
Keep up the reviews and opinions, good or bad. I'm anxious to hear what everyone thinks.
There are good salesmen out there. Just like other industries, some good and a lot not so good. Problem is it's just a job for most people and they don't take any extra effort to learn anything they don't have to know.
I don't know how to say it any more plainly. These trucks are not...
I agree they should make better info available to the dealership level. I understand their reason for not wanting to release what the issues are but at least put some time frames on things so we can give the customer an idea. I don't like to wait but if I'm given a window I can at least...
