Correct.
As far as Ford tracking you I would strongly doubt that. Privacy laws now a days could cost them a tremendous amount of money if they were caught doing that.
My truck had shown released since 12/17. I had my regional manager run a trace on the truck and low and behold the truck was released but that wasn't final completion. So released may just mean released from the current retrofit, upfit, what ever the shit was being done.
I had those in my 13' But the Raptor has completely different wheel wells so I can't see any easy way of adapting them so they look nice and give the protection they are designed for.
Please do. I saw one picture posted (I don't remember if it was a Raptor) and it just didn't look very nice or effective. Just looked like you took a spray gun and sprayed the wheel well black.
Happens frequently that a vehicle comes in with the quality testing sticker on it but has more miles than the sticker shows. Now it's not normally this much difference.
I would venture to guess those miles were all from running to and from retrofit and storage areas. Or maybe Ramp 59 is 40...
I think through the few discussions we have determined that all of the 17' Raptors have the CA tag under the hood.
But from what I've seen the CO doesn't state that if it's not ordered with CA or CA emissions for non CA registration it won't say it on the CO. We are a green state and all of...
Most of the difference is I love this stuff versus the usual salesman that just does it for a job. So I get as excited as the customer.
I've been in constant contact with my Raptor customers sending them emails with links to reviews, pictures and any information or status I can find.
Its...
There isn't a letter for test miles. It's a printed sticker that has a space where the write the miles in that is on the drivers window.
Our first order came in last night. The sticker said 28 miles but the truck had 74.7 miles on it.
There was a piece of paper in the truck that had...
Well our first unit that was built October 14th got dropped off last night.
The truck is dirty but not that bad for sitting almost 3 months.
As mentioned above most of the pictures I've seen of the Avalanche trucks looked close to white. This truck looks NOTHING close to white in person. At...
Good find.
I just read all 9 pages. If they gain the claimed power AND don't require a tune AND are about $200 for all of the parts, I'M IN!!
They shouldn't be that bad of a job on a new truck.
Anxiously awaiting the results on the 7th while also anxiously waiting for my damn Raptor.
That's interesting, but crappy.
One of the members here posted that his Raptor was picked up at the rail yard. His brother owns the dealership but I don't know that would make a difference. It's been a lot of years since we've been able to do that. When I contacted our Zone manager yesterday...
I considered that but I think I want the wheel well liners. I like the look better and I would rather not have them spraying the bottom of the truck. Just concerned I won't be happy with the end result of the spray liner job.
One of the guys that used to sell here where I worked moved to Alllentown Pa which is about 90 minutes from us. Last I talked to him they were $10k over but hadn't sold any units. I did text him this morning to check and see where they are at now and what allocation they may have left. He...
I've been searching for rear wheel well liners. I can't seem to find a manufacturer that even lists them as an item that will eventually be available for the Raptor.
Some of the pre production trucks in the pictures looked like they had the WW liners in them. So I'm assuming someone has...
Being a guy that prefers keeping their vehicle non descript and doesn't really like graphics I did order the subdued FORD grille American flag. I think it looks great and that the reflective feature is an added coolness factor!
I've also been eyeing up the tailgate lettering outline options...
Been in contact with my rep yesterday and today about our last 2 allocation and when they'll get scheduled. Both want bead locks and one also has CF. Both units are delayed getting scheduled due to that.
For PA our units go convoy, rail, convoy until they get here.
So depending on where you are you'll see the same thing. Definitely Alabama will be convoy, rail, convoy
Have you considered a 2 post?
I have an Atlas 2-post OH-10X It's an extra wide and extra tall 10k# lift.
It's marketed as fitting anything from a smart car to a dual wheel truck
You can drive a dual wheel pickup though between the posts.
I did a lot of research on lifts and settled on...
