Ditto on all the above.
I have a 5000# 26' camper (500# tongue) and use a WD hitch with all the heavy stuff removed from camper (placed in Raptor cab or bed), front cargo locker emptied and heavy items shifted aft for towing. Draining all the fluids helps too.
Read thru the F150 towing supp as...
Hey, appreciate the words.
I do consider others and keep it safe within acceptable threat level and risk, something I've been doing a long time in a previous life (25 years flying the F16)
Thanks...
Love this truck...:)

Color me "old school" but I like the OEM look best.
In fact the more subdued, the better. My Gen II Alpha has no decals, stand out mods or any suspension mods nor will it ever which, contrary to many out there, is a great design by Ford.
However comma, I applaud your experimentation and...
As a new Raptor owner I'm still being surprised/amazed at its capabilities...
Yesterday Espoza Loco and I had to drive home from Houston to The DFW area requiring passage on I-45. After a quick stop at Sams Club for $1.88 93 Octane, we were off.
On the trip down there was alot of traffic but...
Ok, this isn't exactly a hard core off roading story but....Espoza Loco and I drove "The Beast" to Houston for treatments and while here I accomplished my first two off road excursions.
Drove on the sand of Jamaica Beach (TX) and today, found a cool landscaper tree supplier with a huge tree...
Great post SS, being a new Raptor owner I was a bit disappointed in that underseat storage compared to my previous lowly Tacoma. Leave it to Amazon, they sell an addition tray that fits next to the primary rear underseat tray. I like your web setup much better.
In the Tacoma I always had a...
Yessir, I've already received disgusting "looks" from several "Prius type" drivers which made me smile...
Agree, radio antennas are ancient technology, new base model Corollas have none, why not the mighty Raptor??

Well last weekend marked yet another birthday (and ensuing 911 call to report the uncontrollable blaze caused by too numerous cake candles)
My stepson (a Dodge Rebel owner) handed me a small box containing a familiar shaped object repurposed for use as a listening aid device on my Raptor.
Given...
Thanks guys, I'll work on getting a pic of Espoza Loco driving my Raptor "The Beast" sometime soon. :)

PS: You know she likes the Truck when she has already beat me to setting her favorite seat memory settings on both front seats! She also scowls when relegated to ride in my "old...
Same old Power Wagon mentality.
Yup, for those of us who remember Plymouth and Chrysler the "King Kong Dodge Power Wagon" of the 70's the TRX is yet another attempt to out-Ford big Trucks. Once again it falls short IMHO. Why?
I drove my Stepsons new Rebel recently and it's nice,,handles well...
Tacoma or Tundra.
Despite what FT1 said, my 2013 Tacoma is my third Toyota Truck with nearing 200K, no issues or rust, will hang with my Raptor thru 5th gear in a drag race and according to KBB is top 10 vehicle for holding its value.
Ive even plugged one with 20mm in Iraq and it limped...
Interesting for certain. My take is reliability. History is littered with high output, small engines that disintegrate after a short lifespan. I too could care less about how it sounds, more how my butt feels when I put the pedal to the floor. The 3.5 in my 18' is faster and more reliable than...
LOL! U guys "feces chat" reminds me of my Bros from a previous life...
Yessir, she's a keeper (Raptor too) but a pic of her here is doubtful. When I mentioned posing by "The Beast" she referenced her plant trimmers and a specific part of my anatomy I didn't need trimmed! So, here's a few of my...
Guys, there I was minding my own business (for once) messing around in the garage when I notice a Leadfoot Gray beast crunching the gravel (rather loudly) in my driveway. My wife smiled and said, "Happy Anniversary"!
For once I was speechless..
Now a month later I am still sporting the "Raptor...
Thanks!
What headlight switch position/s select the Amber outline DRLs, Auto as they are now?
As far as triple lights go I'm personally not a fan of how they look however, a single SAE Amber fog centered in the bumper hole appeals more for me, especially if it had a recessed black composite...
Nice!
I'm a new 2018 802A owner looking at lighting options. Question: when you install these how does the headlight "switchology" select white DRL or Amber DRL or both? Auto for DRL white, Amber in parking lights? Also is it two white LEDs for low beam and all 8 on for High Beam?
Better start...
David, my 2018s wires were much like "Oscar Foxtrots" above. Additionally none of my wires colors matched the codes in the Raptor owners manual supplement. I watched a U-tube and then found the wire bundle. I then turned on the Truck (one start button push w/o brake) selected each aux switch one...
Just carried two bikes (Wifes Trek/My Co-Op MBs) in my 18 Raptor's bed for a 800 mile trip. I have a Rough Country tri-fold flush mount Bed Cover. I placed a sit-up mat on the bed floor, removed my front wheel but hers fit fine assembled.
Nary a scratch incurred.
No worries...:)
Yessir, I speak cheapskate as well, my previous Tacoma has Amazon LED bulbs for the Fogs/DRLs that looked and work great for under $50 bucks. I like the stock lights on my 18 Raptor but the bumper holes need...something. $1000 buys me a lot of gas in TX, so cheap LEDs that work as DRLs similar...
