I’ve commented before that in my numerous revolutions of the earth behind me and all the ground vehicles I’ve owned or driven, my 2018 802A is far and away the best in all categories. People walk up at gas stations all the time and comment “cool truck” and it’s even cooler to drive. Dodge...
Of all the vehicles I’ve owned or driven (and in 65 years that’s a few), My Raptor is my far and away fave.
I’ve often called it my “comfortable, 4WD, utilitarian do it all Mach 1.”
Once you own one, all others pale in comparison. :)

I went a bit different route as I like a cleaner look with lights behind the grill….so I ordered grill pattern bumper inserts from Amazon and mounted a set of Diode Dynamics SSC2 behind them. I wanted DRLs I could run day or night and they fit the mission perfectly. They’re nearly invisible when...
Just pulled my 4500# camper from TX to FL with my 2018 SCREW. 65-70mph in Tow/Haul yielded 10.5-12 mpg, normally I get 16-18 at Cruise Control 70-75 AC on. As mentioned above and from numerous revolutions of the Earth behind me, “if thou presseth pedal to floor, gas goeth out all the more!”

Welcome!
I joined the Raptor lovers group three years ago during Covid. My bride surprised me when it drove up on our anniversary. I was Sixty-Two years young then. Still greatly enjoying the Truck, coolest vehicle I’ve ever owned and I’ve had alot of years to own a lot of them. :)
It’s kind of...
Flown lots with NODS in the desert but never driven, man gotta try it!
Armadillos have destroyed a lot of my acres here in TX, at night. So….
In the name of science of course…

My condolences and can totally relate having lost my Mom,Dad and little Brother all within 6 months, plus fighting the big C. Our Raptor performed amazingly during this period with numerous trips back and forth to Houston pulling our “home away from home” Jayco Jayfeather 23RD. The key I found...
Amen!
I searched for my “2018 Leadfoot Grey 802A” for 6 months during the lockdown and gave up getting them bought out from under me. Unbeknownst to me my esposa loco literally bought one used over a zoom call from a very rural dealership several hours away. While in our “garage Covid gym” one...
Traveling home from a Doc visit last week in our 18’ 802A my “Esposa Loco” was at the helm as I was in the propothol haze.
As we made our way up I-45 traffic slowed in the left lane behind what appeared in the distance as a slow driver leading the parade. The right lane was full of 18 wheelers...
My 2018 802A just passed 50K and it’s a keeper especially over any Mopar, Chevy, Rivian or otherwise I used to tow my best friends Power Wagon home often with my F150, it was always broke, or stuck somewhere.
Raptor gripes after 50K?
Nada, just need surgery to remove grin I can’t seem to get rid...

Raptor gripes after 50K?
None. Favorite vehicle I’ve owned, period.
Shares the garage with our...
I’ve flown Baja Cabo to SD more times than I can count(for work) but always wanted to drive my Raptor there.
For now, driving 50 or 60 miles down the TX coast will have to do…:)

Sure why not if you can afford it. My 18’ 802a was spendy (to us) when we bought it. However comma after almost 3 years and countless great adventures, amazing utility and fun, selling it or trading it is never ever discussed. If it even gets whispered, my wife actually beats me to the “no way...
I'm one of those blessed guys whose wife likes driving trucks. Our other truck is a Tacoma and I tend to test products for the Raptor first on the Taco. BFG tires have stood up to the test on both trucks. There's no perfect solution, but the KO2's have the most Pro's (vs Cons) for me on the...
Thanks for sharing Jake, looks like a great choice. I too believe KO2s are overrated, loud and vibrate on concrete. Unless you live off road the compromise is a better call for the mission.

Realtor friend appraised my home for over twice what we paid five years ago, tax assessor pretty close as well.
I asked my better half (Espoza loco) what she thought of selling our house, her car and my Raptor and living in our camper for a season driving my old Tacoma parking the trailer in a...
Espoza Loco and granddaughter walked up yesterday looking like I was about to chauffeur them someplace. "Let's put that Bad A$$ truck of yours to work today....
So, how many bags of mulch will a S-Crew carry?. (I know the book Max carry number)
Turns out it's almost 50 bags...ugh
Got to...
I installed a pair of DD SSC2 Sport combo lens White/Amber-backlight on DIY brackets aligned with the OEM headlights in the bumper slots as they're the same size and I wanted the OEM look. I don't off road at night and I wanted DRLs to augment the OEM lighting.
When I tested them at night...
If they pump up the TTV6 vice a V8, can the Raptor Hybrid/EV be far behind?
High fuel prices could be a game changer...
