Yes, I bolted them all. Had to drill the holes out a bit for the bolts. You can reach behind the wheel wells and that is where the second set of hands comes into play. One of my brackets got bent at TRR and some of the self taps were working loose so that's why I went with the bolts.

One more thing to consider is to bolt them and not use self tapping screws or lags for the brace. It takes two people but well worth it. The tail light comes out to reach the back side.

I have them and what Harbler said is the truth. I'd spray a little silicone lube on the locks underneath occasionally too. They get hard to swing out when dirty. I also have some foam padding I stuff in there when offroading and it helps keep my tools somewhat organized.

Enough to make a grown man cry. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Just put a thin bead of silicone around the washer and that worked when I was still a fan of the dually's.
