I have been considering going back to the large cubes that i had on my 2014, but the price has been quite restricting.
If I was to just replace the Aux 1 lights with SR-fogs, how much light output increase am I looking at over the OEM light that is in there? Is it enough to justify the cost...
Same here, but over the last couple of years I've calmed down on that. Its just not worth the stress to me. If the car runs, and everything in it runs, whatever lol
Bronco has rattles, GT350 has rattles, now raptor has rattles. All run, don't burn oil or parts, I'm satisfied lol
I'm hoping it will settle with time, otherwise when I go in for an oil change, I'll have to have him look back into it again. Worst case, guess I'm going to be stuck pulling it apart myself. Its not great, but its too infrequent.
Was finally able to get my HVAC display installed by the dealer. Charged me a bit more than others have detailed here, but luckily was able to use some fordpass points from buying my wife's bronco.
The only disappointment I have is that i'm here a slight tapping behind the dash when...
Agree. Sandpaper and spray. If you're in the rust belt, the salt will eat through the film and do this each winter. Its a couple hours for cleanup and reprep and you're off to the races for another year.
Like the post above said, I don't see any pry marks or any signs of pressure being applied to that area. With it being hotter than the surface of the sun in Texas, that looks more like the adhesive let go.
Add me to the list. Same thing happened driving home on Saturday. 82F outside, humid, driving about an hour on the highway. Noticed the air getting warmer and slower. Even at full blast, the air felt and sounded like it was being restricted. Attempted to turn AUTO on and the mode literally...
How big are you? Reason I ask is because you might be the only person I've ever heard say that the GT350s recaros are good for long drives lol. I love the seats in mine, but pretty much NEED out after about 50 miles of driving.
I have the blue recaros in my raptor and find them just fine for...
Pretty common. My wife's 2017 explorer had one just like that, and my 2014 Raptor had a less severe one as well. The new raptor and bronco seem to not have them though
You don't do highway driving either? Been plenty of times my truck has picked up rocks and such on the highway and BANG off the boards. Come to think of it, most of my windshield breaks have come from 'mall crawling' or highway.
I mean, I get it, auto running board are nice. However, I use the running boards for rock and salt protection (in addition to mudflaps). The sounds that come from rocks being flung and hitting the boards would completely dent the doors. Further, in the winter, the boards protect stones and...
Glad to know i"m not the only one because I was like "you gotta be kidding...".
Thank you for the suggestion. I did try that, it removed maybe 85% of it. Enough that I'm OK with putting it into the truck.
Unfortuantely, it just arrived today, and I have not gotten the same luck as others of you. My display on the passenger side is all scuffed up. I am really disappointed at that grace autoparts considering they sell it as "new". They wrapped it in scratchy paper, so I"m not overly shocked. So...
Thank you, I haven't gotten the green light OK from my dealership yet, but based upon you guys providing the good rep for the seller, I went ahead and made the purchase. Now, I can work out the install.
My only issue is that i don't have a windows OS computer available, so I don't have Forscan...
I believe this is solely a situation of your dealer simply doesn't have the allocations and doesn't give a crap about you.
Search for high volume dealers, you'll find someone. I waited 7 months for mine, December 2021 to July 2022 order.
When you had your dealership do it, what did you have to tell them needed to be done? They didn’t push back on you for installing something not made for your model year? I just want to ensure they won’t say “can’t do that” or not know what they need to do with the computer to get the seats to...
