Its interesting that you mention that gasket. I have noticed getting a larger hissing like sound whenever i'm making over 4psi boost. The truck has 1,600 miles on it, and I do not recall ever having that sound before...
Had my appointment yesterday, and while my truck does the SAME thing, my build date is 10 days after the TSB ends. So now, they have to reach out to Ford and get an OK to do something. The dealership is on board that something is broken, but now I"m in a gray area.
Sure, there are run of the mile ones, but if you want to order one, its been damn near impossible. MY23 orders are now delayed until end of March, and if you want a Wildtrak, or anything with the Sasquatch/hard roof, you've been pretty much already booted from MY23 to MY24.
The flares are an impregnated plastic I believe. Thats why there is no paint code that will ever match it.
Personally, I've never been a fan of painted fender flares. From a distance, it just looks like joe-bob put fender flares on his base F150.
Probably should hold off until 2028 or so, heard gen 4 is going to be crazy.
Seriously, waiting is not always a win. 2021 trucks have stuff the 2022s don't because "we waited". The 2023 have even less than the 2022 because "they waited".
If you want it, pull the trigger. Otherwise, don't...
I got the "low battery, sleep mode" warning a couple months ago after the truck sat for 3 weeks straight.
I took my keys, which were on the other side of the wall away from the truck, and moved them to the other side of my house, and I've never had a problem again.
I think the courtesy lights...
Thank you! I am not overly sold on the price necessary to get the HVAC fixed (after my 2014 Raptor, 2017 Explorer, and 2018 GT350 all display the temp at the top of the screen), but having those LEDs in means a lot.
Now is just a matter of finding a shop local to me that would feel comfortable...
I mainly want the light back where my phone charger is. When driving at night, you have to actively take your eyes off the road to put your phone there. Its a little dangerous almost since its so dark in that cubby.
Did anyone see which forum member that you ask for the modules? The main...
Same here, except used Bioshield T9 on the shocks. Also painted the exposed steel on the front a-arms.
I usually tape off things and cover the truck, but you can also put MPHD into a container (spray it) and use a foam brush to get it into tough to reach places. I also found it easy to spray...
Add me to the list. It just started the last couple of cold days, 1,300 miles. July 2022 build. Its obnoxious. Only seems to happen during initial start and then disappears....
My only concern with unplugging the actuator is that now you have to plug up those connections to ensure that the...
Unfortuantely, you are most likely correct. I caught my flaw about 10 minutes into my drive home with the truck, and caught every other flaw over the next 24 hours.
You have a warranty, use it. My dealership swapped mine out without an issue and its been great ever since.
I thought I was a unique situation, but it makes me wonder more either the person installing them doesn't give a damn and manhandles them in, or they are arriving this way and they...
May I ask a dumb question? Is there any concern about using the bed extender when you leave the tailgate down while driving with all the motors and such for the automatic tailgate?
