Just picked it up from ppf and ceramic. They did the first 1/3 of the hood and the front end. As well as the side mirrors and black trim on the doors.

Mine is getting xpel right now. They told me the same thing, there's no plot available for the Gen 3 yet. He's going to do it by hand and make custom cuts. He said it takes an extra day (3 total). I did the first 1/3 of the front end and side mirrors. $1400

Thats awesome. I did the same thing with mine. I got lucky, the xpel shop I normally use had a cancellation and was able to get it right in. Dropped it off yesterday, should be done by Tuesday night.

I gave him a deposit. Settled on 1K over. Which I hate the idea of, but at this rate my car rental will be more if I wait for the 35. Picking it up tomorrow or Monday.

MSRP for a 35. Ordered it when the window opened. However, my sales rep reminds me everytime we talk that they're not marking it up.

I ordered mine when the banks opened up in June. It wasn't an option and the dealer never asked. But my window sticker says it's deleted. Changed about a week ago.

For what's it worth, I live in the Detroit area. Otw to the airport earlier this week which goes through Dearborn, hundreds of F150s were sitting in various Ford parking lots. I noticed about 6 or so raptors among them.

Build date of 9/1. Went in production yesterday and the window sticker was available today. Blend date 9/1.

I would check the value at Carvana or another dealer. The sales tax doesn't matter if a dealer buys it, there are two separate pay offs. So if the pay off is 37K and a dealer pays 41K you'll get 4K.

I tend to agree the two deals are separate. If the trade in is worth more that's money that is being left on the table. It seems odd they wouldn't commit to a price when you ordered it. It's like buying a house and having the price change at closing. Remember it's still a deprecating asset.

I chatted with FP this morning. Build date got moved up to 9/1.

I ordered on 6/12. Originally scheduled for the week on 8/14. Moved about a month ago to the week of 8/30, now a build date of 9/4. No winder sticker yet.
