I went ahead and charged the battery fully. No change. Key works fine to open doors. The car even wakes up as I get close to it. But it won’t unlock the doors automatically. Also from time to time the car give me a “no key detected” error but I can drive fine. I’m thinking the ppf messed up some...
Are you the guy who made those ravelco videos online with the trx? Because if so that was lame as hell to doxx everyone that had it. Whoever that guy is really sucks.
I’m not expert and so I can’t say I know much but from what I saw online and what I was told by the installers and how they now do things-it seems pretty much fine. Certainly makes sense to me. But what is wrong with the product? I feel like I’m missing something. Yes it’s a fancy kill switch...
Mostly on private property, I own some area in the adirondacks with a pretty wide range of features. There were a few places I went but can’t remember the names. Friends dragged me to some off road parks closer to the Hudson valley. Nothing too challenging. And certainly not able to fit a...
Reviving an old thread I guess. I have a brand new ‘24 R. Had it full ppf wrapped. Picked up the truck and am now getting all those weird electrical gremlins. Key errors and no auto unlock when I’m nearby. I thought maybe was the film somehow but will certainly charge up the battery as others...
Are you with igla? A local installer said it would take a while to get going. And I wasn’t prepared to wait with nothing. Maybe I’ll add that system on top when it comes out. Certainly can’t hurt. I’m just trying to protect the truck. Nothing is 100% and never will be. But anything is better...
The installers have a new way to do things that could stop that or at least make it take a significant amount of time. They installed mine the other day. I saw it too and had that conversation with the installers. There just isn’t anything better at the moment.
Not that I know any better so I’ll take your word on it. So what is it that’s better than? Please don’t say igla or compustar cuz they don’t work on the 24s
I’m from ny and so I know exactly what you’re talking about. Moved here a few years ago with the rest of the ny refugees. So much better off-I would never go back. The only thing here is there aren’t many places to go off-roading like I’m used to. I need to make local friends who know the scene.
Sure. Exactly. I went with the basics at first. Ppf and anti theft. I definitely want upgraded bumpers and a chase rack for aesthetic purposes mostly but also the added lights are great. I’m probably not going to do anything to the engine or suspension at all ever.
