Yes, I now have a Velocity Blue 2019 in the garage... Had to leave town the day after delivery and it's filthy from the cyclone that hit Colorado this week so I haven't been able to take any pictures yet.
For what it's worth, I had to have the dash on my '17 replaced under warranty. Yes, it is a very involved process but can be done easily enough. It took them 1.5 days once the parts arrived...
I gave the tech $50 and told him there was another $50 in it for him when I picked it up if there was...
I wipe all of our car's steering wheels down once a month. Not a problem, the shininess you are seeing is dirt and oil from your hands. If it's left unchecked it will permanently abrade the leather and make it smooth and shiny.
@drdjin I knew what everyone would say, but if you look at the response, especially from the guys that own or have owned SD's the feedback is valuable. Regardless of how biased Raptor owners are, most of us have owned many trucks and know the pros and cons of going different routes...
I'm certain I know the answer I'll get from our forum, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway... I've had a Raptor as a daily since 2011 and recently sold my 2017 in October. In the absence of a Raptor in my garage I've been contemplating what I was going to purchase as the next daily. To be...
I've only seen that happen one other time... Question for you. Are you a big guy that uses the steering wheel as a grab handle getting in and out of the truck?
I had a friend who was huge. Lot of muscle but a little overweight... He looked like one of those guys that does strong man...
I'm just going to throw this out there, I'm as bad as you are apparently troubleshooting for others. I like to keep things within my control.
BUT... You paid a shop to do it, go take it to them and ask them to figure it out. You probably paid them good money to do the install, now is when...
Wondering about the remote start as well... As long as the keyfob isn't integrated into Sync and still works, I may do this. Not concerned about losing the opportunity to start via the app.
I like doing both. Mine are wired to a relay, when I throw it in reverse they turn on automatically, or I can throw the upfitter switch and use them anytime to hook my trailer up or whatever.
This is normal when going over rocks or hardpack with good traction. Especially when turning... When you are in mud or sand it's easier for the drivetrain to slip without binding up
Yes, you have solid experience. Your shop has a good great reputation... Not debating that, I'm not a master tech, I'm just the guy that has written code for sectors of the OEM ECU applications, I know what the Euro world is looking at, but not sure about Ford. What the BMW dealer can see at the...
I hope I'm wrong. If Ford isn't monitoring it and recording maximum levels, I would run out and buy one now. They are a great product in my opinion.
Just to clarify my concern, I personally didn't run into 3 different engine issues on my BMW's running the JB4. I was trying to explain that all...
I've had similar issues occur on a couple different vehicles. The only master cylinder that I had fail did produce problems like this but it was on a fastback Mustang long prior to ABS sensors.
Cooked brake fluid does very weird things, I would change that first, it's too easy not to do as the...
Hold up... Are we sure the truck ECU doesn't record max boost achieved? If we remove the JB4, you won't see a trace from it as it is a piggyback, however I'm pretty sure somewhere in the system Ford is recording boost levels??
If we've exceeded max boost that the factory code allows that will...
I don't think the real image example is much better. The font resolution is pretty low and the screening is low quality. You could do as well or better with your own label printer, it just wouldn't be in the shape of the switch recess.
