    In-Vehicle Technology Team

Welcome! First question… Why did you guys abandon everyone with the initial Sync system? I have a 2012, it's disappointing that there aren't software updates to resolve issues. MFT came out and all of us were left in the dust!

    Head Units Show Em!

I see what you're saying now. I guess I'll have to wait until I pull everything apart and understand what has to be done to hold the HVAC controls. I thought they would have been mechanically mounted on their own, but it sounds like the bracketry is common between the factory NAV and everything...

    Head Units Show Em!

I'm in the same boat, Factory NAV as well. I think this kit will work, I believe it's relatively new. I'm sure Noah will chime in and confirm. Metra Part # 95-5819 | Ford F-150 Dash kit | Metra Online ETA: I think I'm wrong and this is only for the non-NAV dashes. I used the info from my...

    Head Units Show Em!

Thanks, I assumed that any iDatalink radio will do this not just the Kenwood? They have a list of iDatalink on the Maestro site.

    How to use a buffer

Follow Nick's advice. I wouldn't use a rotary on anything unless I was confident in my abilities. They will cause damage quicker than you will realize even when applying wax.

So what are the options for a '12 with the factory NAV? I would love to rip out the OEM unit. Looks like the Maestro allows control of the HVAC controls if you have a iDatalink radio?

    WARNING! Look at your rockers

I sure hope your dealership has a good bodyshop. This won't be an easy repair, and many bodyshops just don't have the talent to cut out and reweld fixes like this properly without using a TON of bodyfiller.

    Wet Okole Seat Covers Installed

It's great to see this working out well. A lot of people were convinced that most F150 seat covers wouldn't fit the Raptor seats properly.

    Carrying pallets

Absolutely. I work for an OEM in the Food & Beverage business, one of our machines is a palletizer which builds the pallet by stacking cases at the end of a production line... Even if the pallet leaves the production facility 100%, it's often restacked by hand at distribution facilities if a...

    Carrying pallets

Get a trailer. Hauling a full pallet of water will be asking for trouble, not just with the pay load, but the build quality of the stack will risk the load shifting.

    Sony Nav swap

This is true as long as you have don't have the factory NAV. With the factory NAV all of the temp readouts etc for the HVAC are on the NAV unit itself. If your truck came without NAV you have a small screen above the screen that contains this information. I miss how they did it on the older...

    Aftermarket DVD/Navigation System

I think the Alpine is definitely the better solution. This should work well as long as you don't have the Factory NAV. I don't believe anyone has come out with a solution to replace the Factory NAV.

    Fs: Bnib nav-tv

Thanks man... By the time we got enough people in on the group order, I already started making plans, I tried convincing myself to go ahead and install it, but I think this will turn out pretty cool. I've got a lot of the parts laying around from my last BMW, so it's just finding the time to...

I just picked this up on the last group buy that Noah had for my 2012 and have decided that I am going to go a different route. I've started planning out a mobile PC build and I won't need this. I paid $400 shipped, I will let it go for $365 shipped! BNIB

Full OEM NAV Audio Integration Completed!

Yes, just the SSI was used. I will have to go back and look at documentation but I believe line levels to the EQ were standard paired wire, not RCA's. I have the documentation at home, or I will be pulling the console this weekend and can confirm.

    A few audio upgrade questions

Mike... You can take a look at my thread for some further information as well. http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f12/full-oem-nav-audio-integration-completed-16553/ I'm running the Audio Control with the JL SSI, which I'm happy with, but I wouldn't hesitate to use the JL Clean Sweep. Mosconi makes...
