They check the VIN for the purchase date and purchaser name.
After that as long as you say the person you are signing up has any one of the 20~ relationships to the purchaser they allow you to transfer to, they're not asking for marriage certificates and family trees
you still have to be a guest of a new owner, even to get in for $1,500
And I did the ST school a few years back when my wife bought her Explorer, they weren't strict other than having to sign up with a new vehicle purchase within 1 year of delivery. Otherwise, they didn’t ask a single question...
I know it does, and I know a lot of people skip their opportunity to go for a lot of different reasons … so why not get a little mod money and let a forum friend your family member take the trip
Anyone buy a 23 or 24 Raptor, new, and planning to skip out on attending the Raptor Assault course?
If so, I'd be willing to shoot you a couple $$$ to sign me up under your free access, you can use it for family members like your long lost half-brother, or an in-law; whatever works for you (lol)
Did you change the color from white to amber as well?
Please keep us updated on the final results. I would like to make a similar change, keeping the factory look.
Busy weekend of light installs:
- Husky Wheel Well Liners
- Husky Mud Flaps
- Digital temp Knobs
- Ambient lighting upgrade
- ASS button/blank swap
- ForScan Audio update
All successful, though the digital temp knobs were a little tricky to get working fully with forscan
I want to disable it because I find the feature to be annoying. I get why its helpful for some, but I don't like it, and the alert that it is turned off every time you drop the truck in reverse, is almost as annoying as the feature itself, at least to me.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try...
I got through pretty much every change I wanted to do in Forscan except for one...
Every time I make this change, I get a notice that pre-collision braking is turned off. Is there a way to make this change and keep pre-collision braking assist on?
Thanks!
Definitely not too good to be true, I just bought one almost exact same setup only black w/ 18k miles, really only differences I see, are mine has the blue interior and a electric bed cover, and that one is gold certified (which is good for about $1-1.5k off an extended warranty). before taxes...
I’d driven 4 or 5 stock raptors before this one, and the whipple tune feels slightly improved in terms of pedal responsiveness, but nothing wildly different … don’t know if I’d spend the money on it
was a joke in reference to the Prius comments….i did about 16 on the long highway drive home but...
pick my battles? Seriously? I’m on a Ford Raptor forum, it’s not fight club tough guy
go check on your truck and leave me alone, you haven’t said a single helpful thing since you showed up here
so you read this very short thread and still told me to "walk away" after I posted that I bought it? Did you not understand that part, or do you always give worthless advice too late?
half of your truck is currently defective ....you should walk away
welp, i bought the Prius but the gas mileage seems a bit off and the exhaust is surprisingly loud:confused: .... Guess we'll just run it as it is
Drove it 280~ miles home last night, the Whipple tune doesn't feel much different from stock Raptors I've driven
2022, 19k miles, 801A, 37PP, RPG...
The reason why is because I don’t trust other people’s work. The world is full of internet geniuses that think they too can reconfigure an ECU, only to create a slow ticking time-bomb.
And theres not a lot of info about the Whipple tune out there, at least not compared to the others, so I was...
I am looking to buy a Gen 3 but it has the Whipple stage 1 kit that I don’t really want, but everything else looks great and the price is right. I’m fine with keeping the CAI and upgraded intercooler but I’d rather remove the ECU flash, at least until the factory warranty is up and then I’d prob...
