Bought my first Raptor in 2018. It was a 2014 Gen 1 in Ruby Red.
Then I got the craving for more power and traded it for a Roush Raptor in Race Red.
Well, after a culmination of racking up 60k miles (in 5 years), stacking maintenance bills, and numerous repair items, I decided the $4k+ would be...
Greetings from (Lafayette) LA!
I work at Jackson Barracks! I've seen a few Raptors around the area. Might have seen yours around if you've had it for a while.
I recently added Deaver +2 Leaf springs, Geiser front coils, and got my shocks rebuilt. Sitting on bottom perch. Here's how mine sits...
Having been on these forums long enough, my instincts of the reactions were accurate. Regardless, I made the post with the admission of my bias - so no one should be shocked. (Even though some actually appear offended...)
ANYWAY:
I often ponder while reading through the [tons] of forum posts of...
So... I posted this same video in the Gen 3 forum... You guys should SEE the salt in there. LMAO.

(This is a double-post from the Gen 3 forum, but it applies to both due to comparison???)
Just thought the Gen 1 dudes would love the fact that they compared a Gen 1 to the Gen 3 instead of how everyone else is comparing Gen 2s to Gen 3s.
Enjoy, Gen 1-crew!!!
Disclaimer:
<- Biased Gen 1 owner. [Very satisfied with the comparison.]
These guys make great videos, regardless. If you're a "car guy," I'd be surprised if you don't already watch these guys.
I messaged Phoenix Radios on facebook and the answer for an ETA was:
"Estimated release date is Mid October"
Won't hold my breath... But thought I'd give an update.
Doug will answer any and all questions we've had about the Gen 3. Lol.
So excited to watch!
Edit: He's probably going to trigger some new Gen 3 purchasers... Whoops.
Oh well, still a cool truck.
As a GM guy since 2007, I have been dreaming of GM making a true Raptor competitor for over a decade now... The Reaper was the closest thing we ever got. Even that was basically a lackluster effort - and not a true GM production vehicle.
I've said it for years, if GM ever built a true...
Just realized the Gen 2 forum had already brought this up... I guess they'll be done in conjunction with each other.

I feel like every 6-12 months there's a new model or even maker of a large screen replacement option for the 09-14 Gen F-150 (and Raptors).
I guess this is the latest one...
Forum life: The more research I do, the more f'ckin' confused I become!
New questions:
1. Eibach vs Geiser... I get the progressive vs linear (blah blah), but I'm seeing the "off-road" crowd with Eibachs [complaining] that their ride is "softer" on road and conversely, too soft on jumps and...
Your truck; your build; your say! I like it. I had Fuel wheels on my Sierra before the Raptor. I liked them.
Looks like the leaf springs are a no-brainer. That's the one upgrade I will be making for SURE. I am considering the front springs, too, though. Working on getting a quote now.
I know... I KNOW!... A Raptor that spends 98% of its time on-road?! What a waste! (Getting it out for you.)
I spend a lot of time of crappy highways in Louisiana and I'm looking to make the treks more, "smooth."
I want to glide along rough roads. What suspension upgrades would the community...
