Anyone know what will happen to the liners when the wheel rubs on them? I think they might rip off? Anyone had issues? Wondering if I should even put mine on. Stock wheels and tires.
Didn't know fluids had sex, good to know. At any rate is anyone else seeing leaks from that area? Wondering if this is condense of some sort. Do not see any oil out of engine or transmission. Brake fluid also is topped off. The mystery fluid does not leave marks on the driveway after it dries so...
Yeah, I know about the knock sensors. The manual I downloaded on their site have some harsh warnings about the fuel that it has to be from tier1 suppliers and made me kind of worried about driving on mexican gas :)
Thanks! Has anyone taken the truck with this stage 1 tune to the desert? Wondering how the heat and baja mode would do detonation wise. Also anyone go to Mexico and have issues with the gasoline there and this tune?
Anyone that has had them installed for a while, have you had problems with tire rubbing? Since there is currently tire rubbing without the liners I wonder what would happen if offroading and the tire grabs the liner. Would it rip it right out?
What do the aerodynamics look like with this bumper? I wonder how they are affected as well as downforce etc.. Is there any weight savings or is it weight added? How does this effect legality and warranty especially in California? Thanks.
I am down, will probably need to do some sort of prep for that kind of trek tho. Are you running stock? Also maybe we could meet before hand somewhere in San Diego over alcoholic beverages. Probably a good bet we seen each other's raptors on the highway parking lots but would be good for the ppl...
Is a bed liner even needed if bed is aluminium an will not rust and resist denting more. I really don't haul gravel or the likes so it will be mostly my dirt bikes. Sounds like bed liner is mostly for hard core construction or contractors no?
I think the SCAB is sufficient room in the back for me coming from a small German compact car. The fact that I live in a crowded city ( San Diego ). The fact that SCAB is lighter, and the smaller wheelbase should make the truck behave better ( not sure how much any inputs? ). I think since...
kAttaching, not sure this is the DORA but thats what I have. Thanks. From what he mentioned his manager said that they will be pulling the scab order on the 10th of March. I think its clean status from what he mentioned last time.
Thanks for the link, but it seem that there are scab builds with dates in between those as well. I placed order 3 weeks ago so it should of slotted into one of those batches by now i would think.
Today I got a update on my order from dealer telling me that SCAB orders wont get pulled from them until 03/10/17. Sounds like total BS does ford care if the dealers have pending orders for SCAB vs SCREW I would think the ford line can build scab or screw right after each other. Not sure if...
I agree, good review, seems most owners so far are buying it as a status, which is fine but the detailed technical reviews I am craving for this truck are very hard to come by. Seems that even the press is more interested in bells and whistles and 0 to 60 times than critical and in depth reviews.
So the SCAB is 26 Gallon and the SCREW is 36 Gallon? Is that correct? I see it on the brochure. There is some kind of extended range option. Not sure if that gets the scab to 36 or if that is possible at all. Anyone?
