Any ideas on a bed cover that could be opened with the tailgate shut. I realize that it sort of defeats one purpose of a bed cover but my gen 2 had tailgate issues in the last 7 months. The tailgate wouldn’t open reliably despite two trips to the dealership. For the last 2 months knowing my gen...
Your dealer can provide you with rail info once it is assigned. Many days can go by from the time your truck is listed as shipped to it being assigned and actually leaving Dearborn. Mine took 13 days.
Finally took delivery this morning. Only had a short 50 mile drive home but the drive is noticeably better than my 17.
Had 57 miles on the odometer which is more than I expected but probably came from the drive from Dearborn to Flat Rock.
Final dates are:
6/18 - order accepted
10/4 - built...
What part is that? The only recall that I am aware of is the issue with the driveshaft. My '21 35 was delivered to dealer yesterday around noon and I'm picking it up tomorrow. The truck is done w/ the recall and PDI, unfortunately I don't have time to get to dealership today.
After 3 months almost to the day the truck was built it has finally arrived at the dealer.
Not sure what sort of condition it is in or if fenders are attached since SA was off today.
Hopefully it is all there and I can take delivery in the next couple of days.
That is infuriating and unreasonable.
Time to discuss alternate options with the dealer? Not sure if they can get you an allocation for a 2022 in a reasonable amount of time or a favorable discount off msrp.
My dealer provided it as soon as it became available.
Just so you know, the truck was marked as shipped on 12/6 but didn’t have rail info/leave Dearborn til 12/16
when my truck was marked shipped last month (didn’t actually leave Dearborn yet), I went through the process of valuing my trade in and rate locking for 30 days.
At that time, we all thought it would 100% arrive within 30 days.
Now 15 days later, we aren’t so sure. Luckily it’s closer than...
My eta date was updated for the 4th time last night - now showing 1/6. I know it shipped and is sitting in Chester, PA, just a few short hours from the dealer in NJ so I have some hope it will arrive on Thursday.
Luckily the snow yesterday seemed to largely miss the Philly area which just...
My understanding is that almost all the trucks go by rail to a rail yard closer to the dealership unless your dealership is super close to Dearborn. My sticker says convoy as well but it went by rail to Chester, PA and now is awaiting a truck.
Your dealer should be able to tell you the rail...
The wait continues - truck has been sitting at a rail yard in Chester, PA since 12/20 - left Dearborn 12/16.
No ETA, just waiting for a truck to bring it the rest of the way.
For those that got their trucks, did you ever use the Palsapp website to track the transit progress?
When I put my vin in, it says pending. But the origin is Dearborn and destination lists null. However I know my truck was taken by rail from Dearborn to NJ then it will get trucked to the...
Anyone in the Northeast get their trucks recently?
Ordered 6/23
Blend 10/3
Built 12/3
Shipped status 12/4
Populated w/ rail info 12/16
ETA was 12/22
Waiting continues...
My 10/3 truck that sat for two months til 12/3 when it shipped is still MIA. It had an eta to dealer (NJ) of 12/22 but as of this AM it still hasn't arrived. I have been using the CSX phone system and it was moving East at a snails pace. On 12/20, it was in Chester, PA, then the next day the...
That is what my dealer is warning me about. He said based on how long it’s been taking for vehicles to arrive, it may be a few weeks from the rail yard to get trucked to the dealership.
Mine says convoy as well but apparently most trucks go on rail to a rail depot then it goes by truck the rest of the way.
Your dealer can give you the rail car once it leaves. Just my truck was marked as built and status changed to shipped on 12/3 but didn't leave Dearborn until 12/16.
Once...
Mine has shown shipped since 12/4 - coming to NJ - with no updates since 12/4. The ETA is 12/22 but dealer is warning me not to get too excited because finding truckers and getting the trucks loaded and unloaded has been nothing short of a nightmare. He believes a January delivery is more likely.
