brightest and longest throw lights I run...
Usually with yellow rock covers on ‘em:
Seriously thinking about getting the laser version and throwing these on my son’s Jeep though.
ARE topper, correct? How did you add internal bracing to support the RTT?
Edit: I see ARE does an internally reinforced topper, but only 550# weight bearing...I’m 220#, wife’s ~120... RTT and mattress, etc. another 100# or so. Probably doable but not too much to spare.
I do like that look...
Don’t see an option to create a poll, so I guess I’ll just ask. What color would you like to see Ford offer for our trucks?
I’m a big fan of the various grays offered over the years, and would love to see Avalanche come back; also loved the Terrain color on Gen 1 trucks.
Would also love...
yeah, love my LF, but think I’ll wait for Terrain (tan?) or Avalanche Gray to come back before I make a switch. Or maybe wait for Ford to do something completely different...non-metallic for sure. Love that flat gray/blue color you see on some Toyota trucks. Was really hoping Ford Performance...
A couple pics from up on the property today...
Took a much-needed midweek 1/2 day off from work to have a late lunch with my wife and restock the feeder:
Gonna be some fat and happy pigs and deer this weekend!
I did a ‘17 tailgate to get rid of the appliqué and get the step; threw a custom badge on while I was at it:
Avoiding the f-150 stamp on a direct replacement for my ‘18 Leadfoot was a bit of inadvertent excellence in my opinion.
And thanks for the reminder to bump the ad for my original...
Motor sounds like it’s toast. Definitely a vacuum leak somewhere, but that rough of an idle is a lot more than a vacuum leak. Sounds like one of my track cars when it had a hole in the side of the block!
Pretty much exactly what I get with my ‘18 SCAB. Current average for the past few thousand miles just clicked up to 16.6mpg.
Only run 93 octane or higher...no tune yet. Stock diameter tires and run 37psi up front, 35psi rear when on the street (90% of my driving).
I do have that too... was going to take it in to the dealer to have it checked out, but now that you mention it, it’s only been happening since I had the cam phasers replaced under warranty. I assumed it was a loose vacuum fitting or something similar, but may be an “update” to the ECU that...
Took the pups up to the property to check cameras and fill the feeder...
Mainly wanted to see if this big boy came back to the feeder. He took off pretty fast when I drove up on him last week:
...and drove down to the bottom of the hill to reward them with a swim while we were up...
Used it as a work bench to put up a new deer feeder up on some property we have North of here...
This butterfly was absolutely obsessed with helping...was landing all over everything, and kept coming back even when I placed it over on some brush with water.
Or maybe it was just trying to...
Damn... nice truck for a very, very good price. I think I’d overcome my aversion to the orange interior trim to jump on this if I was still in the market.
Looked very far and wide for an Avalanche SCAB but “settled” for my Leadfoot. Yours has pretty much every option and all the accessories...
Just got my truck back today... Replaced intake and exhaust phasers as well as the cam chain tensioner on bank 2 (driver’s side). In fact, unless I’m reading it wrong, they replaced both cams on the driver’s side.
I’ll post complete parts list if anyone needs it, but it appears my engine was...
Ran Sparco Evos and Evo-2s in my track cars, but don’t think I’d want them in an off road vehicle at speed. Not much cushion for vertical loads.
Find out what the pros run in their baja rigs; maybe rally cars.
Edit: deleted the suspension comment.
Welcome to the forum... However, there’s already a thread on this:

Looks like you have a well-rounded garage though!
