My guess is that they're all working from home.
I need to check my date, I'm scheduled for that week. I figured I'd check next week, now you have me heading there now.
My build date is 8/23.
Really?
This was posted on another site I'm a member of. The guy was configuring a new Jeep:
Either there is an issue with the website or it was an extension of Pride month.
I bought a Gen 2 in early 2018. I had driven an F150 for the previous 20+ years. The one thing that you'll notice when you start driving the Raptor is how wide it is. You'll think you're hanging over the lines on both side of the lane.
Ford ships over 1 million F150s per year. That 60-70k isn't all that many over 3 months, especially if there are still production delays caused by missing components. Those vehicles will likely be filling in slots that would normally go to regular production shipments.
I know that some Bronco folks had their vehicles within 2 weeks of production. I want to say that they were folks in the midwest, so it may take longer in other regions, but completed vehicles are not sitting long. Ford needs them shipped for the cash flow. The lots full of vehicles awaiting...
Also, check what the tow rating for the Dodge TRX is, that will provide the real reason why the tow rating increased 200 pounds.
I'm not sure if the Raptor brakes are the same as the standard F150, I remember a video I watched that interviewed a Ford engineer about the Raptor when I was...
I know that house paints are in short supply. If you go to Sherwin Williams, your chance of getting everything you want is slim.
Hopefully, since I picked Rapid Red (and it's the second least popular choice based on the survey on this forum) that mine will not be delayed.
I want to contact FP. I last checked 2 weeks ago and was not unhappy with what I heard.
There is zero chance that if I contact them now it will increase my happiness. There is, however, a good chance that I will hear something that will make me unhappy.
Therefore, if I do not contact FP, I...
I'm not a fan of the steering wheel controls either. It's going to be tough to adjust to volume being on the left. I've had it on the right since I got my 2006 F-150.
The VIN is created when the order is scheduled. You can call Ford Performance to see if you're scheduled, but you'll have to get the VIN from the dealer. The dealer can also check to see if it's been scheduled, but the FP guys are easy to reach and give you what you need quickly. Much easier...
Hey Joe, I bet this dude is the one that just called us, now he's on FRF whining about the date moving back several weeks. OK, he's got the other idiots in a panic...we're about to get hammered.
When I bought my 2018, I contacted about 20 dealers.
Some got back to me, knew what they were talking about, but didn't have any remaining allocations. However, there were more than a few that contacted me and just wanted to chat. They couldn't get what I wanted, but I think they wanted to...
