I run 37s on a 17/9 wheel with 0 offset I did have to trim a little in the front and add a eibach spring and did nothing in the back. I went off-roading this weekend and had no issue with rubbing
Like I said I was told and I also didn’t say you couldn’t. And I’m sure you’ve never been wrong before or given wrong advise. So I’m sorry I stated something I was told I’ll make sure to never say anything wrong again ok mr perfect
I was told
that you need at least a 9 inch wide wheel. They say you can put them on a 8.5 wheel but they don’t advise it. That’s from discount tire. So why do you have to bash people on this. Does that make you feel like a big man? And if someone was given the wrong advise then why not just...
Got the 37s put on today with the 0 offset wheels. Didn’t have to trim much. Cut back some of the pinch weld to the rivets and the plastic liner and also heated up the plastic liner and rolled it inside the fender next to the pinch weld. No rubbing.
Yes you can put 37 on your factory wheels. It’s not advised because you should have at least a 9inch wide wheel stock is 8.5. I went with a 17x9 with a 0 offset and very minor trimming and 37/12.5/17 fit with no rubbing. If I do any major off-roading I’m sure they will rub and may need to trim...
It’s sad you have to knock what other people do. If you don’t want to do it then fine don’t I’m sure people dont tell you that your wrong for not doing it.
why do some Gen2 have the honeycomb plastic behind the fender linings and some don’t. My 18 doesn’t but my friends 17 does. I noticed it when I was going to trim for 37s
I realize it will need to be trimmed but was wondering if anyone out there did it and how much trimming was done. I looked all night and get conflicting story’s. Also why do some raptors have the honeycomb behind the liners and others don’t. My friend has a 17 and it does but my 18 doesn’t
