We have a 1976 Triumph TR6 serving the role of classic. DDs are a 2018 Lesbru Outback for the wife and for me a 2018 Golf R and the 2019 Raptor.
I just let go my beloved 2011 Gen 1 which rated 3 on the list of favorite vehicles out of 51 so far.
Casually looking at GT3s for a new fun car, and...
Take a good look at the rocker panels and cab corners for rust. As for the price it seems reasonable for such low miles I would expect it to be in top shape to get $36k. I would try to wheel and deal it down to $33k or less personally.
I ran the KO2 last year and the Duratrac the 4 winters before that and here is what I think.
The KO2 was good in light and deep snow, the Duratrac studdable is better in ice conditions. No studs here in MI. they are illegal. I have run studded tires before and they have a real advantage on...
Well I put it in storage for a few weeks after someone severely scuffed the cover of the rear bumper cover. no other damage. I did not even make the first week without an incident!!
In a few weeks I am having the front end PPFed and then the spray in bed liner and wheel wells done. I'll...
Don’t know if this was asked but has anyone heard if this works with the Icon bump kit which has triangulated arms for added strength. One side rubbed on the exhaust on my Gen1 and it was no big deal but this could be a different story with a moving part.
Try to sell on your own, I just could not find a buyer for an 8 year old norther truck with 128k. Started at 27 dropped to 25 then 23 and got only 2 inquiries but noting stuck. Dealer was very generous to give me 21. It ended up being a little sad to let it go that way but since the new one was...
Friday the time came for me to let my Gen1 go. 8 years, 6 of 7 Snoballs and 128,000 miles the truck ranks top 3 of 50+ cars, trucks and race cars I have owned. I will miss it.
I replaced it with a 19 Gen2 but I will always be a OG Gen1 guy at heart.
I had the pro in the center and it was very bright. Every time I opened my door to take a wiz it blinded the truck sitting behind me so my new truck got all sports. I think they are bright enough while moving but even the sports might be to bright for the truck sitting behind you at stops
HPA (high pressure air) systems is the way to go. Co2 can and will freeze in cold conditions since it is a liquid gas.
I have used Power tank set ups for 20 years in all weather conditions and HPA is a far better way to go. I have converted over to them getting the Aux air 66, 46 & jack...
I don’t care for the carbon fiber bits inside the Raptor and had to take them because I wanted the Recaro seats. They are for looks in this application. Now if they were not shinny I would enjoy them a little.
