    GEN 1 Power steering problem

    Had to replace my pump awhile ago. Got a LOT of good info here. Filter in the reservoir that should be replaced. Hoses sometime need attention. Adding a cooler and using specific fluid get mentioned. Good luck with the fix. And running Baja :)

    There is oil for the compressor mixed in with the refrigerant in the A.C. lines. If the lines are actually leaking, they will need replacing. Or, if more like everything I won... Might just just motor oil spilled below the fill port, beneath the oil filter and covered in oil from changing the...

    Welcome looks like the a.c. line that you have circled. Either it's loosing oil from the system through that crimped connection, which I would assume it would be loosing freon/refrigerant also. Does the a.c. work, cool? cold? If it works good, I would look and see if there is something else...

    Sorry to see this. I have hit quite a few. My area is just FULL of deer. I see at least 20 on my 16 mile drive to work each morning. Sometimes between 50-100. Latest was with my winter driven MKX. :(
