What are you guys talking about???? You don't have to be in "manual" to see the gears you're in! Just tap the paddle shifter while in automatic and the display shows what gear your in and changes with the automatic shifting so simple!
I thought the rule was only pay for what the truck is worth NOT WITH ADD ONS. Modifications are personal choices not usually something you can pass on to a future sale. Unless those add ons are what you really like and wanted then I guess pay for them.
Thanks for the post, it reassures me as to why I’m keeping my 2020 stock. It drives great, and 9 out of 10 problems people have seem to be from trucks that are modified. I get nothing but compliments and great performance on my stock raptor
I think we can all agree that must have felt like a kick in the nuts after the high of driving home in a dream truck and then the low of having to get a tow. That’s why I always buy local so I have somebody to make it right or buy it back. When I bought my 2020 802a $74k and miles of driving and...
Too bad no Costco for you. I’m in MN and all the gas stations have 91 but Costco has 92 octane for 2.95 to 3.15 per gallon depending over the last year. That’s all I get runs great. Ran up to Duluth from the Twin Cities got 18.1 miles to the gallon in cruise control.
I was offered $72k for my 2020 15,000 miles 702a fully loaded (how do you not have heated seats btw?) from a St Paul ford dealership. Paid $73500 No way I’m selling cause can’t get another one anytime soon. But wow I was shocked. I’ll bet you can get more for sure even if market is stabilizing...
You guys are funny . Why is anybody asking the forum the weight. You should know the weight of ur Raptor (easy to find) and how do any of us know the weight of ur trailer??? You can find that urself too, then add those 2 numbers together and viola there’s ur answer.
I told the family my limit is $1000 or will have to put down. But I’m sure if push comes to shove I’d be dolling out $5k if wife and kids have their say. Plus my Dane is pretty attached to me, so one look from him and I’d be pulling out my wallet just like you did.
Ford it seems never offers incentive percentage rates on the Raptor. So ur best rates will be at a credit union. I got the last auto loan from Wells Fargo 1 yr ago for 4% (they’ve stopped writing auto loans for some reason end of last yr.). Local credit unions are only a 1.5% lower than that...
This probably isn’t you but thought I’d mention. I have a 2020 raptor with the stowable ramps (do you have those)? that are mounted to each side of the bed. Factory install not aftermarket. But they started to rattle, annoying so I removed them. I only kept them in for a little extra weight...
Well my 2 cents is your SOL. I’ve tried everything possible on a used car and cigarette smoke is there to stay. You might even think you got it out till one day it’s sitting in the sun and it’s right back. Now I just buy new.
Really? Where would I look for that? Because my wife said “fix it” so it doesn’t happen again. The dog weighs way more than my wife and if it happened with just her she would never have gotten him loose and I’m sure his toes would have torn off.
Just thought I’d share my experience, something I didn’t even think of till it happened. I’ve got 2020 802a leadfoot screw. I love the plentiful room in back for our 135lb Great Dane (still a pup). He’s been in and out of it since I bought new last September. But this last weekend we went to...
Inspect thoroughly after transport delivery. Don’t let trucker leave without looking it over. Had my truck transported from MN to CA and after unloading it he parked it specifically right up next to his rig before I showed up so it would be hard to see the scratches down the side. I ended up...
Mine went out 5 miles out of dealership in August in Minnesota. High 80’s. So it’s whenever and whatever weather. Just a known bad part they keep putting in new trucks. Very disappointed.
How is this IWE thing still a problem??? I bought a 2020 802a in august drive it 5 miles and the “grinding” was horrendous. $73K truck and has to immediately go in the shop for a repair that seems everybody knows about
But the other side of the coin is; I have exclusively driven Ford for the last 25 years, I’ve bought 5 new and 7 used (dealer and private party) and never had any problems with them. Now I’ve got a 2020 raptor screw 802a and hope my luck runs the same as it always has with Ford. I think you just...
Yes get the warranty! Just wait till ur closer to the additional 36 months before you start any modifications. Buying used is always a gamble, you don’t know how previous owner drove it. If it runs great and no issues for close to extended warranty miles then mod away.
Just my 2 cents: in my experience for such a sought after truck to be going to a 3rd owner in 6 years would concern me. For sure get it checked out. I've purchased low mile for years vehicle in the past and had the issues others have stated here. Hoses are dry and cracked, bearings bad tank...
