Went and had breakfast at one of my favourite places in the Malibu canyons (Old Place) and a trx parked next to me. First time seeing one in person. Nice, but I prefer my Raptor

In that picture, let’s say it’s for a 37, and that back bracket the 37 tire fits. The 35 would fit in that same space with no changes right??? So why in the world would there be 2 different frames?

Right... same scenario, you would have to have two different frames ready to go. The parts have to be built in advance. The trucks are made to order from those parts

From what I have read and seen. Yes, the 37 come with different shocks that limit the travel (1 inch) also the front 37 shocks have a larger diameter shaft as well as different valving and programming for the live valve.
Which why I question the different frames on 37 to 35. It will be very...
I find it really hard to believe there is a different frame between the 35 and 37. Imagine what a manufacturing nightmare that would be!
The shocks are different, that is to have one inch less travel so the 37 doesn’t crash the inner fender.
The rear bumper is bowed out in the middle to allow...
In 2017 I had a good source tell me (obviously now) that the v8 would make a return. However, the v6 is is here to stay. And even if the R was a 10k option (probably going to be 20k with other R bells and whistles...along with 10k+ adm) the v6 will still outsell the v8 by a long shot. 450+ hp is...
Bump for my favourite headlight. Really happy almost a year later. Only complaint was the alignment was all over the map and it took more than the “recommend max adjustment“ to get right. But it’s all good and they are bright, aimed properly and most importantly don’t blind oncoming traffic...
Lol the gen 2 guys saying the gen 3 doesn’t look as good sounds like in 2017 when gen 1ers where saying the same thing.
I think the gen 3 looks great. (Of course the og gen 1 looks the best[emoji23])
Gen 3 pros-
Made the v6 sound good!
Lay flat front seats???
About twice the mileage of a trx...
Those are most definitely fox 3.0s and they are way better than stock. Also you do not necessarily need to rebuild them. If they ride like shit or are leaking oil then yes rebuild, but more than likely they are fine. Btw 3.0s are a 6k upgrade
As @jabroni619 said, in bad mountain storms in Ca 4x4 have to carry chains and if the storm is bad enough and they will turn you around if you do not have. Any set of chains will get you past the check point, they don't even have to fit.
As far as the proper chains for a raptor, with stock...
Generally a proper off-road race truck/ prerunner will hunt and be wallowy on the street. My buddy has a long travel RPG and he complains about it on the street yet he can go 80 through 3 foot whoops

Ha! Finally someone is doing it right!
As far as the live valve, it probably wouldn’t be hard to get it to work. My guess it’s 5v, 5v being full soft and 0v hard (hence unplugging gives full hard) add a potentiometer and you could have a really neat adjustable system

There is no such thing as too much light. Unless the op is using the lights on the street then it would kinda make sense I guess. Baja designs makes a dimmer module for leds. That along with tint might be needed with some lights as to not blind oncoming traffic
It doesn’t really matter however if someone is having a similar issue and searches it would be better to have in a new thread which would make it more searchable. So yes start a new thread. Thanks

You probably need new bumps or a new bracket
That ready lift bump kit uses 980-02-801 for the bump which is a 2.5 but the overall length is 10” vs the one you have which looks like the length similar to mine which is 11” (part # 980-02-311 ) However 10” is still too long and you would be better...
I think your bump stop holder uses 2.0s and not 2.5s
2.0s are 1.5 inches shorter and that would definitely get you closer to 5 inches
Mine is 5 1/2 but it sits pretty high in the back

I was thinking at first your spring looks flat compared to mine but mine are +3s with an inch drop with the longer shackles. So yours are for sure +2s. However look at my bump stop “holder”, it’s way higher. So your bumps are too long for that design.
Also it takes a big hit before I touch my bumps
