MajorAR is correct....the filter element tends to come off during offroad use.

When mine went out the switch light stayed on......Most of the time its the connecting wire from the seat to the back rest heating elements that shorts out.

Did finally figure out what the problem was.......My issue was with the rear lights, made sure that I had good grounds for the resistors and while doing that I notice that one of the connectors behind the bumper was loose

Have them mounted more towards the rear to keep the debris off of the rear shocks, etc.
One thing I did do was cut them down to 13 1/2" overall due to them dragging on the ground.
