No matter which type or brand you choose, if you do any serious chasing or Baja trips, you may want to consider omitting any light bar on the top.
There is a reason that you rarely see a light bar mounted on a bed rack in Baja....and when you do, its usually not for long!
Hey guys....
Unfortunately I also have a SCREW, I'm out of the country now but will be back on Saturday if you still need a truck.
The only difference in the two models in the length of the mid-pipe.
As JtoU said, if you do any off-roading DO NOT mount Light bars, chase racks , etc to the bed sides....Every truck I have seen that has done this ended up with cracked/split bed sides and/or bed supports after only a few miles.
The thin sheet metal of the bed sides will not support the...

This year the group will include Dan06, RDFTS, BearLeeAsian and myself.
Our 9-day trek will have us crossing the border at...
The Border Patrol has a series of cameras that you pass going into Baja. They record the time and date, front and rear of your truck, ie license plates, and driver/passengers, etc.

Not at all!
If you want to go I wouldn't let a lack of passport stop you. As I said many times it is not really necessary.
This will be an epic 2500 mile trip using past race courses and some trails and locations that are only known by a few long time Baja travelers.
You have a...
Not Really!....I don't take mine for fear that I may lose it, and my racing partner doesn't have one and he has been down to Baja as many times as I have.
Any form of ID from the states works.
With their computers/ tracking system, they know when you crossed into Mexico, how long you been...
Don't really need one! A valid drivers license works!
In all the times I've crossed the border (100's), only been asked once....handed the agent my license.....he looked at it, handed it back , said "have a good day".
