I've had both RGs and KM3s in 37". KM3s are vastly superior on every surface. RGs are more quiet when new, but when worn get louder. RGs will last longer because the tread compound is softer on the KM3s, but if traction is paramount, go with the KM3s.
I've had both, and the KM3s are superior in every way and every surface IMO. After burying my truck in a soupy muddy red clay hunting field with KO2s, I resolved to NEVER buy another AT tire. I've had 37" Ridge Grapplers, too - better than KO2s but not near as good as KM3s. With that said...
I'm running a level kit and 37s, OEM wheels. I can't really tell any difference. No rubbing, but no jumping either. I do get it out in the hunting field and on the beach.
OT: I just had a TPMS sensor go out at 2 yes old and 59k mi. Dealer quoted me $135 for an OEM one, so I took it to a Off-road shop where they did it for $60 I think the brand was Bogart or something like that.
Ride is smooth with the "D" load range. My Costco tech said they don't like installing tires bigger than 35". I would take it to an off-road specialist if moving up to 37s.
2.5" level kit plus 1" block in back. I was told a 2" with no rear block would also do the trick, but I liked the look of the bigger lift on one of the technician's Raptor.
37 inch RGs should fit without rubbing if you are running OEM wheels and a level. I'm running 37 inch KM3s with no rubbing - they are also a little lighter than the RGs.
