I have a non-powered Retrax on my 2015 F150 and it will lock in any position. It does however seem to be a little more sticky than when it was new. Perhaps yours needs a tune-up or was installed incorrectly causing it not to be level or maybe just a faulty locking mechanisism.

There are a couple videos on YouTube that give a good over view of the fold flat rear seat storage, certainly cleared things up once I was able to see how it works. Go to 4:40 to see the rear seat footage.

Used it once on my current 2015 F150, just to test it out. It works, but takes more time and button pushes than skills! Sometimes you just need to learn the old-fashioned way. If you need it…you probably should not be driving the vehicle.

Pretty sure the first two are useless tools, but the PB&J is deemed an essential survival aid.

Picked one of these up to try out and compare to the Stubby on my 2015 F150…needless to say I don’t think any of the “stubby” antennas give great reception, but than again I never use AM/FM radio.
