Bro, this is so not in my budget right now. But I want this lol. From the reviews I've read so far, it seems preferred over phoenix and that the company that makes it has been doing this for Ford for a while. Will be putting it on my todo list.
I was told ceramic coating only helps make washing the car easier, doesn't even prevent micro scratches and swirl marks. Best bet is to have the whole thing wrapped in self healing PPF.
You and I must be looking at different websites. https://performanceparts.ford.com/performance-packs/#m2018 This website still shows nothing about the Explorer.
I just realized I was thinking of Roush power pacs and not Ford...
The LED is integrated in the glass so you would have to pull the signal off the harness somewhere and attach it to your own LED like they did on that Flex. I wouldn't jerryrig stuff like that on my $70k+ rig, but that's just me.
I know Lethal Performance released something for the Explorer ST, but if you look on the Ford Performance website there is nothing listed. Also they removed all the coming soon Ford Raptor performance packs, so it ain't happening. Just get an AP and Goosetune. You'll be fine.
I recently purchased the Honey Badger rear bumper and I have to cut off a bracket on the trailer hitch to install it. My question is, can I not reinstall the trailer hitch? I don't use it. Can anyone think of a negative of not installing it other than I may need to tow something some day?
Get rid of the scorcher, get an AP and a Goosetune. I used to have a BCB tune and my truck would over heat. You just need a good tune and you'll be good to go.
I used Phil Long Motor City since that's who I bought the truck from. They did damage the truck during repairs, said they would pay to fix it then backtracked and said I had to take it to their collision center. I know the work that comes out of that Gerber and it'll be worse coming out than...
Yeah, I got it and cam phasers covered 3 days before my warranty expired. Dealership said the cover would still be covered under warranty once it comes in. They also scratched the crap out of my rear drivers door when they did the cam phasers.
