I finished installation of my Wagner Tuning IC yesterday. Oil cooler is relocated about 2.5-3” higher using supplied brackets, horn bracket has to be slightly modified (bend the locating tab to allow a bit of clockwise rotation). The instructions suck a** and a lot of the install you just have...
Installed my Wagner Tuning intercooler with the help of my son. As others have stated, the instructions are lackluster to say the least. It is doable if you are patient and are somewhat mechanically inclined. Took us about 5 hours total. The grill has to be removed, oil cooler relocated, horn...
The install is pretty straightforward. An automotive trim removal tool and some plastic trim wedges is what I used.
First: remove under hood insulation.
Second: remove four rubber grommets from rear portion of hood near the wiper cowl.
Third: remove the six nuts from the bolts underneath the...
Waiting for my Wagner Tuning intercooler to arrive. Hoping it will do as advertised and drop these intake temps a bit. 115-140F temps rob so much power.
Installed my APR carbon fiber hood vent to match the fender vents today.
APR’s products are top notch and flawless. Glad I decided to spend a little more money for the “good stuff”.
Apollo optics has a package deal for the fender and hood vents. They’re the cheapest I’ve found. I only purchased the fender vents to confirm quality and appearance before buying the hood vent.
I was looking at those brands as well but, my OCD said there were issues with the others. The APR looked best in the pics I could find and the reviews just solidified my choice. I will be buying the hood vent soon.
Installed my APR carbon fiber fender vents. These things are legit, only complaint I have is the direction the fiber runs doesn’t match side to side. Oh well, you can’t see both of them at the same time anyway.
No, it’s precut perfectly to fit the accessory power cover.

I had thought about constructing my own system as well, except for downpipes. I’ve seen many people doing turbo adapters and downpipes alone and getting a much different than stock sounding exhaust. I have emailed American Headers about whether or not their unit has/needs turbo adapters. I like...
Has anyone installed or had experience with this exhaust system?

“Their truck already had all that removed”. Wow. That’s an awful answer. Thx for the information. Seems kind of sketchy along with not having any data supporting their products performance. Quoting customers reviews isn’t reliable data a $70k truck owner would tend to trust.
I’m considering installing a FMIC and in my research ran across a unit from CP-E. Does anyone have any experience/input with this product? The goal is to get the most cooling whilst not having to cut or remove pieces from my truck. I’m also interested in the Wagner FMIC if anyone wants to share...
That COBB FMIC looks killer! Have you experienced any increased turbo lag due to the massively increased volume? I love the idea of getting the IC up out of the bumper so it can get some real airflow. My state requires a front license plate which covers a large portion of the bumper inlet. I...
