25yrs and 11 Mustangs (including 2 93' Cobra's, 04' Cobra, 05 Roush, Boss 302 and GT's) it was time for a little change. I had a 16' and moved into the 18' shortly after released. That car with the 10spd Auto/3.55's was a blast to drive. Ran 12.0 at 115mph with no tune.
I had been wanting a SCAB since the beginning of the year and timing was finally right. Found this 801a across the state and picked up this past Tuesday. 25+ years of driving mustangs so I needed a little change. Wifey is full support and met her for dinner after picking it up and she said...
One of the most fun cars I have had with so little done to it. Steeda Coilovers with adjustable struts sitting on Forgestar 20x9.5 and 20x11 rears. 3.55 10spd auto car with catback only ran 12.0 at 116mph. The 10spd auto is the tranny for that car and so much fun to drive with the paddles.
It was my 11th Mustang and just bored. The past four have been 12' GT (1st gen coyote), 13' Boss 302 , 16' GT (2nd gen coyote), and the 18' you see (3rd gen coyote) with 10spd. It was a blast to drive but have been eyeing trucks for more room and light towing needed instead of having to use my...
I have been lurking and searching since January with my biggest hang up being my trade value until today! I pulled the trigger on a 801A SCAB that I found 3hrs away and picked it up this morning.
I was on my 11th Mustang and needed some change and this fit the need perfectly. My wife of 20+...
Unless it is a reciprocating state, most will not collect tax on an out of state purchase. You would then pay the full tax when you register your truck in California.
This is the number one volume store in the US for 2019, so they are moving a lot of vehicles daily. He knows that very few are discounting 2020 SCAB's over 7k so has the advantage to wait for the right deal for them to make that money back on trade or finance.
We were very far off, and said...
Truck is nice and pricing was no BS, however they are going to make their money somehow either on trade or the financing. Unfortunately we could not get past the trade number on my car. They also had a few more color 800a's but all had graphics for $2k higher and discount was not as aggressive.
LOL, stop looking at my truck. :) I might be going to look at that today. Base is good for me as I am not a leather or big tech fan. I have been driving mustangs for 20+ years now (on my 11th) and looking for a little change.
I you blow a Raptor motor, it is going to cost more than $7k to repair at a shop. I had a 12' mustang GT that needed a long block replacement under warranty at 1200miles and that run of the mill 5.0L was a total job cost of over $12k.
