You will have to unbolt/unmount several things:
The brake calipers, disc and disk protector
Upper Control Arm (UCA)
Lower Control Arm (LCA)
Tierods
Integrated Wheel End (IWE) / Hub flange / Hub nut
The vacuum lines to the IWE
Here is an exploded picture of the knuckle assembly:

From the pictures, you can see that the skid allows for about 6.5" wide jack with the length from front bolt (where the wheel goes) to the rear bolts being about 24".
I have been happy with the HF jack and was using it as my primary until I put the skid on it. The skid is great for offroad, but...
Absolutely! I will PM the gang to try to get something set up.
Also, I didn't realize this was a Gen2 thread, sorry for the miss-catgorization, but these wheels would fit on a Gen2 as well so I think it is still applicable.

I was really impressed how easy these wheels were to mount and balance. I was able to complete one wheel in about 45 minutes. The process included:
Hand tightening the beadlock bolts by hand then...
You are totally right! I am so sorry; That was a mistake! I fixed my original post. Good eyes!
This should be the correct jack:

But I tell you what, I will measure the bolt distance on the jack...
It worked for me as you can see from the picture, but it wasn't a super easy install. I had to take a lot of bolts out of the HF jack before it would slide in properly. That normally wouldn't present a problem but a couple of the bolts hold the hydraulic piston, and if that gets off-center then...
I have always been under the impression that the flip covers keep the honest thieves out. I have an Undercover Flex and it does everything I need it to, keep the bed covered, allows me to store things on road trips in the snow, rain and sand, and keeps my stuff out of direct view of the public...
It looks as if you want to have full access to the bed, that you have to take off the cover. That is a bit of a deal-breaker for me, but I do agree it is a real nice looking cover for sure.
I am wondering what the benefit of a torque stick is over a torque wrench. Is there any reason to forego a torque wrench?
I had an alignment shop swear to me that they made sure to use a "torque stick" on all my lug nuts when reinstalling my wheels. I brought it back to them because I lost...
I got the UPR catch can on the forum group buy a while back through Juggernaut. I have been real happy with it. The design looks as if it may have changed a bit since I picked mine up but overall it looks pretty close to the same.
I made a mount for mine but now it looks like it comes with...
Sorry waddellw, I didn't mean to be a jerk about it, after rereading, I can see how it comes off smug, that wasn't my intention. I am pretty sure that those shocks won't work on a Gen1 setup though, all the shops I see selling those say they are for 2017+ Raptors. If you find out differently...
Thanks NE Ford! Good to know that I might be in the minority by flipping the bolt.
I did a rough alignment check today and it looks like I may not even need to adjust caster or camber that much. So my worries about having to remove the UCA a bunch to get it right may not be warranted.
I will...
I have been using McGuard lug nuts for the last few years. So far they have been really durable, the finish has held up well and the tolerances on the threads seem precise. They are a little expensive, but in my opinion are worth it.
Here is a set that should work for you.
Hope this helps!
You should definitely consider the bumpstops and frame support if you plan to do any serious offroading. I make good use of the bumpstops still with RPG HD springs (which are similar to the Deaver 3+ springs). Rick at FreedomMotorsports (@RDFTS or Rick@FreedomMotorsports) can hook you up, he is...
I'm not sure how this relates to my original issue, but sure, I guess we can talk about you wanting to get these shocks.
First though waddellw, your profile picture has a Gen1 truck on it. Is that what you are currently driving? If so, I don't believe the shocks you posted pictures of will...
Thanks JtoU. I ended up cutting the bolt, though I may end up doing it your way if I see any movement of the bolt/nut over time.
The space up there is so tight, I got a grade 10.9 nut that didn't have as much height and used some blue loctite on it.
I sort of question Fox's design for...
Looking for advice here. I am trying to install the fox 3.0 coilover with the rogue UCA and LCA slot delete kit.
Because the Rogue UCA has heim joints at the top and is intended to be adjusted there to align the wheels, Rogue says to flip the bolts inward so they can be removed without...
