It is my understanding that when we subject our trucks to some more significant impacts offroading, that some owners have reported a separation of the rear quarter panels/fenders from the bed. This brace adds structure to the rear to eliminate the flex that happens in the rear and keeps...
I ordered the kit in steel. SDHQ gave me a nice deal once I told them I was a FRF member.
I received the kit last week and plan to install tomorrow. I will try to post a write up on the installation since I think the provided install instructions could be supplemented with better pictures...
I use the 2.5 Ton HF jack with the DMZ skid for offroad trips. I think that is a great option as well, but I think the OP was looking for something to fit in the same place as the lame OEM jack. I am not sure what that looks like for the Gen2s; It would be cool to see a pic of the jack...
I was able to see it, but it is a PDF so your computer may block it.
The website is about the worst I have ever seen, but the jack, now that is something to behold. Here is a link to the site, you will have to search a little to find the right place to click for more info:

I came across these maintenance videos showing how to swap the fluid for our transmissions. They were done really well so I thought I would share it here.
I have been told in the past that you need to bring the truck into a shop to have a full flush done because it needs to be under pressure...
You have to want it a bit louder but if you are looking for a sound that makes you feel like you are driving a 6.2 without the aggravation of drone on long freeway drives, I couldn't suggest a better option. I do in fact have the Corsa setup in my garage at the moment, I am toying with the idea...
For me I went with the following and have liked it so far:
The Tune by SVC
MBRP Exhaust with turndown and resonator (PM Rick - @RDFTS - on this thread he will be able to get you a good deal on this setup)
Pedal Commander (I am running both The Tune and the Pedal Commander at City level +3...
I have been thinking of selling my stock bumper and would like to ask the Forum what they think it is worth.
I'd like to give an FRF member a good deal since I think that is part what this forum is about. I am also not looking to put this in the pay-it-forward thread as I /do/ want to make...
I have a Gen1 bumper. It has about 3 years of use before it was replaced but still in good condition. I am in California so shipping might not be too bad (but really have no idea).
PM me if this is something that sounds interesting.
That was a well done video. Thanks for sharing this out.
I never knew the body mounts flexed so much when offroading. It seems like over time that would be something that would wear out. I guess I will add that to the list of things to to check after beating on the truck.
Consider making your own!!??
If that isn't your jam, the rack that I used as inspiration when building that one above came from Krazy House Customs. They are a vendor here so if you reach out to them they may be able to give you FRF pricing.

Good thing you had the radar detector, I think I saw a cop hiding behind one of those power poles @1:23.
Seriously though, way to use the truck as it was intended.
It sounds like you have replaced most everything that could be causing your issues. The next step would be to look at the steering knuckle and the UCA and LCA, but that doesn't really feel right to me.
What you are explaining now is that the truck started out feeling OK and then went sloppy...
You shouldn't have any steering wheel shake while driving. The suggestions I originally listed may not really address that issue. Steering wheel shake, in my experience, comes from wheels not being properly balanced, wheels being bent or tweaked, or a bad alignment.
Also if you are getting a...
I contacted Qcfx2 to get my set. He was super responsive.
I posted a Geiser Brothers Progressive Coil installation thread that had more info about the coils which may be of use to you.
Hope this helps!

I was interested in adding the Hidden Bedside Support System from SDHQ. Does anybody have any experience with this setup? If so, I would be interested in your opinion.
SDHQ: Would there be any FRF discounts for this bedside support system?
My $0.02 is get a buddy to wiggle the steering wheel left and right while you inspect the engine bay near the steering shaft as well as under the the the steering rack and tie rods to see if you can see where the play exists (don't forget to remove the tie rod boots to inspect those joints too)...
I don't have the Fox color code, but searching on Anodized Blue Transparent will get you pretty close. Also, there was a discussion on a blue that matches the Ford Blue on the forum a while back that may get you sorted out.
