The noisy rear end when accelerating/cruising says this wasn't due to a 1 time hit, usually indicative of worn ring/pinion, or clearances out of spec (failed bearing as was already suggested). The catastrophic failure was caused by wear, you just pushed it over the threshold with shenanigans :).
You should be humbled and proud that people took the time to look at your install photo's and point out potential safety issues. All we can see is the photos you posted, none of us has access to look under your truck.
There are a few ways of working out drone, you can change muffler design or case volume, if its a narrow band resonance the J-tube/Helmholtz works great, or you can go with a traditional can style resonator. If you have a beat you can change the length of one side of the exhaust. You need to...
I have Corsa extreme on my truck and was recently able to ride in a Roush raptor. They are very different, the Corsa is more baritone when cruising. It makes a wonderfully cataclysmic jackhammer noise when you really romp on it, on ramps with concrete barriers are really fun, especially if you...
I have a similar problem with mine... There is some good news though, they are the same as standard f150 headlights so you should be able to find used replacement housings inexpensively.
I was all fired up to tell you to rebuild it yourself, then I checked car-part and there is one with 8k miles for $175, the overhaul kit without any replacement parts is $135. Find a local place on there or go to a local pick-a-part. All the 2009-2014 f150's with the electronic shift should have...
4 post lifts raise the vehicles by the wheels, you really want a 2 post so you can unload the suspension, linkage and wheel bearings.
The reason for jacking up one corner is because it makes it a lot easier to feel for play in the steering linkage. If you jack up just one front corner you can...
If you just installed new coilovers and your suspension noise got worse the problem is not the coilovers. Putting another new set of coilovers on is just throwing money at it.
Since its riding poorly check your strut mount plates (hats), make sure everything is tight to spec. Look for cracks in...
I did a little digging on that. Might work ok if you want to have all the seats done at once. The shop I talked to said they would have a tough time matching the ford orange. Maybe it would be easier with red. Full custom upholstery would be sweet!
Read the plugs http://www.ngksparkplugs.co.za/technical/technical-spark-plugs/
If you see problems related to plug temp then you will know you need to change them.
Just get a fiberglass handle shovel and tie it down in the bed, its a good thing to have in a raptor anyway and the glass wont deteriorate as quickly in the weather. If you have to dig yourself out of a mess you will be glad to have the full size shove.
I run the extreme, it really isn't a whole lot louder than stock inside until you ask it to be. Can't really hear it over the duratrac's. You can also pop the resonator back in if you find it too much, takes 20 minutes. If your looking for quiet outside the vehicle just go with sport.
I'm not so sure about a gen 1 being "ehh" in stock form. They are very capable. See if you can find a bone stock one at a local dealer to test drive, that way you have a benchmark.
Find out what the mileage on the Kings is, all of the parts are replaceable so they can be rebuilt if neccasary...
You may not see external seepage, don't lose sleep over it. Check your oil when you fill up and if the misfire returns you can just change the plug again, rinse and repeat until your ready to do the gasket.
Oil on threads is usually an indicator of valve cover gasket, o-ring, head gasket or rings. Since it is only the lower plug in that cylinder its very likely its just a valve cover gasket. Plug gap won't do much for oil fouling.
If that wire was bad that could be the source of the missfire, if...
Good on you for working with what you've got! If you get a chance to post up some pics of failed bends do so, you should be able to bend 1.75 x .095 on a 6.0 CLR w/out mandrels.
