I'm more interested in just lowering it a bit, the factory 36 or 38psi on my load range E KO2's is about like running wagon wheels. TPMS on Gen1 is all or nothing, it's OMFG DANGER WILL ROBINSON you're below threshold or no light at all, if I could set it to 20 or even just 30 the system would...
Looking good! I agree with others that the stock ones are really decent, and failing that (or out of necessity) a set of RPG rock sliders would be a good option...or at least the ones that are on my wish list haha!
I agree, the flush isn't necessary if you're doing it as preventative (so not likely to have debris in the cooler & lines), and the stock dipstick is redonkulous. I dropped the pan and replaced fluid & filter shortly after I got mine, at 155k miles, and at the same time added Performance...
Can't beat the price though, would be worth trying. I know for sure the bed bolts are different from Gen1 to Gen2 so chances are the frame itself is a little different, could be just bolt hole locations (step bit is your friend), might be width between rails (well hello Sawzall)...
Hmm not sure how the RPG's work without the corresponding strike plate since the factory lift block has it built in, I would call/email 'em and see if those hockey pucks come with just a flat strike plate like what they use with their bump setup (seems most likely). That's the cheapest option...
That's a sharp truck. When I found mine I had a short list of must-haves, one was nav (and so decent backup camera, those rearview mirror ones are ridiculous) and the other was 6.2L (no firsthand experience against the 5.4L but the spark plug horror stories were enough for me). I'd rather have...
I looked at a couple Border Patrol Raptors in El Paso before I found mine in Andrews heh, some of them were definitely rode hard and put up wet! One thing to dovetail with @FordTechOne's post;
Make sure the battery is new or very good condition, lotsa systems will freak the F out when a...
That is odd, can you check the connectors and test for voltage with a multimeter? At least find out if the truck is sending volts to the headlights; from there I would trace the wiring back to BCM (?) and then switch itself. Good luck!
Pretty sure it will only switch between 1 & 2 when in Park; you can adjust and hold the 1 or 2 to save it anytime, but it'll only beep at you if you try to switch between them whilst driving. And yes the pedals/steering should both adjust along with the seat to the two different settings...
Ok I should S T F U because I'm not an enguhneer but 100cm²=15.5in². Just sayin' heh, since it's squared the 2.54cm=1" has to apply to just the two sides (10cm) instead of the total. I didn't run the total area of the rotors because circles are a pain but I don't even know if they would total...
It's been a while and I'm re-reading the instructions but yes it's messy and you're going to have excess fluid, that's ok, it'll displace the air as it should. Good luck!!
The YouTube video link in the very first post works for me, I reposted my pics on page 36&37 but unfortunately never saved the ones from @m3dragon's posts...
