^^Beautiful. Gen 1's don't get "dirty", they just Glow. Over on my planet, another 11lbs of weld wire got used up last week. I refilled the big 150lb argon bottle in June, and just picked up (2) 11lb spools of .024 & .030 ER70S mig wire and tips. Currently, I'm finishing up the Raptor bed...

Finally arrived.. The FOA 2.5X2" bumpstop with the Pinch Bolt style can. You can see the difference in size and stroke compared to the more common King 2.0X4" bumpstop with their Pin Top style can.

    Camburg Conversion coil buckets installed

Any picture of the P-side bucket? I'm curious about the clearance to the motor on that side. I've got the KHC version, the D-side is already done, the only thing I remember about that side was to pull the brake lines away from the oem bucket and I think I used a trimmed piece of sheetmetal (to...

Gen 1 to Gen 2 Suspension

I ended up selling my new Gen 1 shocks with the Geisers, so it looks like I'm going with a pair of "lightly used" 2017 shocks & springs with the SSV coil adjusters.

Test-fitting 1-1/4" brace & 1-1/2" bushing sizes for the bed stiffeners. I couldn't find 1-1/4" bushings and didn't want to use 1-1/2" for the diagonal brace, so this is the solution. Just wanted to be sure it didn't look janky.

BTW, this is the correct tool to remove the Gen 1 bed bolts. Apparently, it doesn't fit anything else on the planet, but there you go.

These 3" dia, 1/2" round plates are sold as steel targets, but they can also be trimmed to use as bumpstop pads.

The bed brace parts coming together. The tab closest to the original bed bolt has to be trimmed for clearance. Although the actual bed material is like 20ga steel, the 3/16" plate material they mention is the correct size for these. At over 3 tons empty, what's another 10lbs?

Gen 1 Easier to change plugs when struts are being swapped?

It's easier to do everything you can think of, after removing the wheel well liners. There's gonna be lots of dead bugs, leaves, spiderwebs, etc, behind them, so a pressure washer might help. Access to your lower 8 plugs, struts, iwe lines, heat shields, is much faster. Once you're under there...

This was fun. On the D-side, I'll just keep the welding blankets on top of the fuel tank sprayed down with a mister. Yeah, this would be much more difficult with the bed on.

Cleaning out the Barn, this was lying on the floor behind some heavy steel plate. An unused King 2.0X4.0 Bumpstop & Can. (It was an extra pair that was purchased long ago, and a lowlife relative "borrowed" the other when his were damaged on his Class 1400 Ranger). It would be simple to just buy...

I got lucky and dug up a 6"X60" rem of P&O .188wall plate. Split it in half with the Eastwood mini metal saw. Now, all the 3" plate needed is ready to go.
