Or, speaking from the experience of others, get some silicone caulking and seal the lights. I’ve met people on the trails that did exactly that with cheap Amazon lights and have had pretty good results.
I’d normally scoff at spending so much for small change in appearance. But, damn, that looks killer. I’ve got higher priorities right now but I could definitely see me doing this down the road.
Exactly, can be a helluva lot of fun. But, in the OP's defense, he may simply not have the time. I was looking into buying my Jeep from a dealer in Idaho and driving it back to Colorado. But figuring in airfare, the cost of my time, an extra 800miles on the Jeep, etc., etc. I just wasn't worth...
I've only had it for a few weeks, but I've done this so far.
1. Bullet Liner spray in.
2. Stubby Antenna, Rear Seat release
3. ODBII with Forscan tool
4. 67 Design F-Series full setup (on order)
5. 4Knines seat cover. (on order)
Planned updates (within the next 6 months)
1. Tonneau Cover...
Has anyone ever heard of a DIY PPF solution? I’ll be going off road every weekend as the snow clears from the trails. My Jeep already has a pretty good case of trail rash but I’m going to have it wrapped.
Or,,,, OOOOORRRR, just stick with me here.
I could simply not buy them.
Rebates are too often an F'ing rip off. I don't have personal experience with BD but plenty of other companies put up MIRs to either screw you or simply in the hopes that you don't apply for the MIR before the cut off...
This is one reason I avoid main in rebates as much as I can. I may consider one that is electronically registered. Stuff like this pretty much guarantees I'll I won't buy my lights from @Baja Designs
There is a wireless Carplay adapter on the market. I don’t know how good it is but I’m looking into getting one of those an adding a Qi charger as well.
I’d like to see a half second delay on the auto high beams coming on. They seem a bit trigger happy to me and I don’t want to be ‘that guy’ unintentionally blinding others.
When I blind them, I want them to be 100% certain it was intentional.
Yea, I think the day of the V8 in passenger cars and light trucks is almost done. My Raptor may be the last ICE powered vehicle I buy. I’ll almost pre-ordered a Mustang MachE (I hate that name) but I’ve decided to hold off a few more years. I see the Raptor being my toy that I enjoy into...
Got some of the beginner mods today.
The Old and Busted
The New Hotness ;)
The Seven Sparta knock off
I know the Seven Sparta is a knock off of BuiltRight but it’s feels also solidly built and only costs a few bucks. Now the question becomes, what do I do with that space behind the seat?
I’m very curious to see what the drivetrain will be. I think an improved 10speed is in the cards but I think there is a chance the hybrid EB 3.0 from the Aviator shows up. Just think of 500HP and 630ftlbs of torque.
There is an iOS based version called ForScan Lite. It doesn’t do everything the windows version does. I haven’t tried this yet but my understanding is that you can run the Windows version of ForScan in a Virtual Machine hosted on Linux or MacOS.
I honestly didn’t know you could get an F150 without a tailgate lock.
Does the old hose clamp trick still work on these? I used to put one on my old F150 and Ram pickups. Most thieves are not determined. They are looking for the quick theft. Many times, hose clamp is enough to slow them down...
Agreed. I guess I’m gonna break down and buy an HD. They’ve got a 10% military discount too.
That really sounds like a crap install.
Can you elaborate on your question? Are you asking if DiamondBack’s ATV ramps mount from the tailgate side? (They don’t) or if the factory ramps are useable...
