Most likely tailgate. I’ve been battling tailgate issues since day 1. If it sense it isn’t in the perfect position it’ll chime or like me just think the tailgate is down 24/7. My dealer replaced the studs that it locks to and it worked for about a month and a half and then boom right back to...
Oh dang didn’t know that! It really is a super nice feature.
Seeing some of the Apple integration into vehicles looks really interesting. I really like the feature that when I use navigation on carplay it pops up in the gauge cluster too. Super nice touch.
What do you mean by full screen Apple car play? Like….the bottom buttons disappearing as well? Where you can select like, settings or whatever else you set it to? As far as I know I have had full screen car play since I got mine in January but now I’m curious…..
There’s a place in Maryland that “specializes” in lifting trucks, broncos, SUV, etc on brand new vehicles. I talked to them once about a bronco lift they did before I got my raptor and asked about warranty. They said they warranty it for 3000 miles. I told them the bronco only had 500 miles on...
It is a travllerx 30 inch from tractor supply it seems. Looking at the spec sheet it says 120V. I mean yeah you are correct they probably will be prone to some warmth for sure. Just didn’t know if I was buggin out cause it’s my first time doing lighting
Alright alright….only thing that does worry me, is that last night I went ahead and did just that, and when I used an extension just to test stuff out the light bar worked, the switches worked, but….wires felt hot. I have done electrical things in the past, but have never done light bar items...
Gotcha. I forgot to mention that the light does have a 15A fuse inline on the positive end.
So let’s say I used another relay, here is what I am confused about on that end.
1.) 30 prong will go to power source (I assume battery terminal)
2.) 87 Prong to positive of light bar
3.) 86 Prong...
So, I recently picked up a light bar unused from a buddy of mine, and just want to make sure that my reasoning is sound when getting this thing installed.
1.) The light bar has three wires coming off of it. It will have Positive, Negative, and another wire for the Amber backlight.
2.)...
UPDATE
Dealer couldn’t recreate the problem, scanned it and said they couldn’t find anything wrong at the time. The had it for three days drove it to and from places and couldn’t find issues.
They fixed the tailgate by putting on new studs to secure the tailgate though so all good there...
Nope, not at all, I would ask them to prove that it was my mods that caused the issue, but I also am not going to try and argue something clearly egregious either.
My 2020 Ram was leveled with 22x12’s on with no suspension upgrades at all. If I went to the dealer with suspension issues and...
I know we haven’t seen eye to eye in this thread but I agree. If my dealer comes back and finds that my moss have caused me issues, that’s on me. It’s a modification from factory after all. Is it LIKELY it is causing my issues? I say no, BUT hey, it could and if so that’s on me.
What this dude...
Lol it’s at the dealer now and in their words I have an “electrical gremlin that likes to ruin software” so. We will see what that means. I don’t think I’ll have an issue with my aftermarket bumper since when I told them my safety and driver assistance features work flawlessly they said they...
Never got that fault, very interesting indeed. The truck didn’t like ADDs location for that ACC module, so I moved. The directions from ADD were shoddy at best honestly. Good product don’t get me wrong but man, they need to update it each model year in order to keep up with different configs.
Lol yes sorry, this thread was originally what the likelihood of a warranty denial or buyback denial was based off of my aftermarket bumper. Friday they will begin to diagnose issues.
Shit got outta hand real quick in here.
I quoted part of this exact excerpt somewhere else in the thread, but it’s assisting into what I am saying with that while they cannot cover the aftermarket part, obviously, it doesn’t warrant a denial of a warranty claim just because a part is aftermarket AS LONG AS that after market part was...
man my shit looked just like that when I was doin the bumper lol. Lemme know how it goes, I’m sure people will still assume it’s all me and there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with they truck.
The techs know more than I do, so I do trust them, especially at the dealer I’m going to be taking it too. At the end of the day, the truck does work, but there is a larger issues going on that I feel may be a bit difficult to diagnose without seeing it happen.
