Nice rig. Even the lower end SVC set up I have (Gen 1) is a huge improvement. Love thier stuff. I have the traction bars too and with the +3 Deavers I can't notice any droop loss but I didn't measure before and after. I rub a bit too so fenders are next for me.
Sucks to see crap like that dumped and left behind. Looks like the one vehicle was burned. We always try to clean up what others have left if reasonable but that's a lot of junk. Still cool pics and the title had me laughing!
I use my steering angle indicator all the time now that I've installed 37" BFG KR's, they rub somewhere between 20 and 22 degrees
The drivetrain lines also show when the rear diff is locked and spin relative to how much power if going up front in 4wd on my '18 Gen 1.
I ran mine on top but I have SVC/Fox bumstops. There was not way it was going to route under the spings, i tried. These are +3 Deavers and the axle is on stands so there is some weight on them. I installed the springs with the frame on the stands. I couldn't see how the cables would go under the...
I don't think most Raptor owners are that woke. Half the time when I try to give another Raptor a wave it's the wife driving and she probably thinks I'm trying to hit on her. Unfortunately where I live there are lots of Raptors driving around with dudes who just bought them because the dealer...
Over the past few years I have had notes like this placed on cars in my driveway or parked on the street that don't move often, never on my Raptor though. One day I thought it would be worth calling just to see what they would offer me for my 2000 BMW 540i sport pack car. The local number was a...
Here is my 2014 with BFG 37" KR's on Innov8racing G400 beadlock wheels: 17x9" - 4.5” backspace. Suspension is SVC stage 2 with billet UCA and Fox 3.0's. They rub at full lock. I trimmed the fender flare down low and inside, that helped a bit but pinch welds will get done soon. YMMV
The other problem with these capped or sleeved OEM lug nuts is the cover can easily deform when using a short socket. My truck has only been serviced at dealers and my OEM nuts won't easily take a deep socket anymore. I suspect its from those special torque limited socket bars (torque sticks)...
Exactly, there are many shops that do exchanges and you can always send them to Fox. I would think less than all new! I can understand if you don't want the truck to be down while you wait for the exchange/rebuild. Sounds to me like you aren't doing anything crazy so I would look into a rebuild...
I put Innov8 Racing G400 Beadlock Wheels - 17x9" 6 Lug (Ford 135mm) - 4.5” backspace on my 2014 Gen1. Love the stance but now that its raining in CA i realize I need fiberglass fenders! Actually, that was part of the grand plan but like others have said: wide wheels throw **** all over the side...
Yeah cool little trailer. It's a 1945 Gemco and was made for a military Jeep. My sister-inlaw bought it with a 60's Bronco for $500 about 10 years ago. It's been sitting up at her parents ranch doing nothing since then so I fixed it up a bit, put some new tires on it and drug it out with us. For...
Last year I took my son and youngest brother out to this spot a buddy of mine suggested. He's been going there for years and it's not too far off highway 447. We had so much fun its now an annual trip and this was our second year going back. We pulled a small trailer in this year to take some...
