I'm at 91k and am waiting for an opening at local offroad shop to rebuild.
No leaks and it still rides great for a truck.
There's no question, however, that it doesn't haul ass over rough surfaces like it did earlier in its life.
I want peak raptor back before I unleash the goose on this truck.
These are a good solution:

I've...
Look into the Police Package brakes.
They're louder than stock(metallic or semi pads), will probably wear out rotors faster but have great pedal feel, are low dust and don't fade under hard braking.
Looking at alcons own stated advantages I couldn't rationalize blowing 1000s more for marginal...
"tech could not replicate" when truck was there.
I took a couple videos yesterday when it acted back up to show service advisor.
Was on the way to the dealership to show them the light and it went out before I got there a couple days prior.
My low-tone horn died during it's last alarm session...
Ravelco is worth the money for peace of mind alone. I need to street park my truck and there’s no way it’s driving off without me. When parking at remote trailheads it goes into my console or rifle safe to delay chances of anything short of a flatbed.
Other than the shock rebuild, what's really unique to the raptor as far as repairs?
Aftermarket stuff, sure but I haven't found anything out of line especially compared to the modern diesels ive owned.
My passenger front door started giving this signal today. Door was securely shut.
Issue went away by end of the day and a dozen key cycles.
I'm chalking up to the same gremlins that effect synch once in a while.
The 6.2 is reliable, I put 160k trouble free, 11mpg miles on my super duty. The raptor engine is basically the same.
My buddies Gen1 was cool but didn't overwhelm me enough to buy one.
He bought his '17 after his first Gen2 ride.
My 2018 has 90k trouble free miles, phasers done under warranty.
Nope, bought from original owner.
Maybe it was replaced or maybe late 18 production, i don't have build date in front of me.
Could just be a ford screw up, when i was a kid my neighbors car was delivered new with two Fairmont badges on the trunk lid lol.
I was happy with my Destination M/Ts other than weight. They did get really, really loud at the end of life however.
I too like to hustle winding roads.
I bought my 2018 just before it was being shipped to auction. Original owner traded it in at selling dealer in BF vermont where nobody could afford it. 49K miles at time of purchase but had gold ford warranty. Jumped some railroad tracks, did some burnouts and bought it. Now at 89k and zero issues.
