4 new OEM shocks installed.
97k on the originals and man, I want to punch myself in the nuts for waiting so long.
I'd forgotten how well these trucks ride on fresh shocks.
Getting spares rebuilt locally so they're ready when needed again.
Deaver +3 SD, holding up great, 10/10 would bang again.
I bought used, not sure how many miles were on them, and have put 40k on them.
Rustoleum keeps the surface rust at bay, which is the only downside I've found with them.
I just ordered full set of shock from RA, cheapest price around. They arrive today and are in stock. $230 cheaper delivered than tasca. I'm going to have my current shocks rebuilt locally for $140/corner and keep for next time.
Check out your driver side valve cover. They are known to crack...
I found the stock springs too soft for my taste, especially when it came to brake dive, and driving style.
My rear springs were also completely flat (replaced with deaver +3) and that didn't give me much confidence in the oem springs so I replaced them all.
Give the springs time to settle. My 18 has Geisers and deaver +3 and doesn’t have these issues, and my shocks have 97k on them lol. (New shocks on the way)
Can’t comment on whether you should change springs, but now is certainly the time if you want to. I like my Geiser, others like the eibach, plenty of threads to search.
I bought my geiser springs used and didn’t experience any off the ill effects you mention, probably because they’d already settled. I put some more miles on before changing anything else. Maybe it’s a live valve thing, I’ve got a 2018.
I was recently quoted $530 to install new front shocks (labor only, w/o alignment) and transfer my geisers over.
Paid $1k for original geiser and deaver install, incl alignment a few years back.
Less fade = shorter stopping distances.
Not a noticeable difference in the starbucks lot, admittedly, though tire shine overspray probably comes into play there.
@quattrojim Thanks, just seeing these replies.
Here's the phone mount I use, it's been solid and works well:

Would it be possible for you to email me the files?
Downloading off their site freaks my low-tech self out a bit lol.
Less dust and more noise during light brake application.
The pads are semi-metallic I think.
Better modulation, pedal feel, less fade and shorter stopping distances than stock.
I was surprised by the performance difference honestly, as was a raptor owning friend who also drove my truck.
This is the set-up I've got, though my bump pads are a different brand that I can't recall.
Geiser 3", Deaver +2 SD. Install ran me around $800 for all w/ alignment for reference.
Looks great. Stock wheels look OK as well, at least in the pics. Certainly stands out from the sea of raptors, I'll keep an eye out for you around greater CLT
Do you happen to still have the update on a thumb drive?
If you use waze, is it possible to actually dim the display at night? I run my current version (3.0.20204) in dark mode all the time but waze is still so bright its hard to use at night, even at lowest dimmer setting.
