They brake. It’s a great design but it seems so simple for them to take a second look and reinforce the front plastic so it doesn’t crack and ruin the $200 case. Mine was busted in a month. Still functioned and held up ok but I never dared to “swing” it because of the cracks.
I own a Jeep and never understood the wave. Not that I care that much, I even wave back but it's just strange. Do you know how many jeeps are out there? It's not really a small community. I see 5-10 every day and I live in Maine where the population is fairly low. It's similar to being out on my...
Fairly happy with the looks. Sits a bit high off of the bed but otherwise very nice. I had a color matched Undercover on my old truck and loved the way it looked and fit the truck. This one has slam latches/release, which is an upgrade from the old style. Combined with the Rhino Rack is pretty...
Nice isn't any fun. I certainly dish it out and can take a little ribbing back. Overall this thread has been entertaining and stayed civil enough where no one is getting too butt hurt.
I put this up for sale this year. We just didn't get a ton of use out of it the last few seasons and the upkeep is a lot on these larger boats. I can't imagine trying to keep an actual large boat clean.
We've taken out a few times. I have a buddy that's into wakeboarding and it makes a decent wave for it but he wasn't thrilled with it. Also tough without a rack. I'm more of a fishing and drinking on the sandbar kind of boater.
The hitch weight on the boat is very low because the weight of the boat is almost 100% over the axles of the trailer. As heavy as that boat is, I can lift the tongue. The Raptor can easily tow the boat and the payload is barely affected.
This thread has been my entertainment for the past few days. We've all been cooped up in the house too long so I may be enjoying this a bit too much.
It's like logging into CNN.com where rather than taking the entirety of a statement you simply point to single words or sentences and try to...
lol, you guys take yourselves way too seriously. Smart ass comments on a truck forum...who knew?!?
Ok, I’m done you guys win. The Raptor is awesome and the payload isn’t worth discussing.
Jesus- never stated it was like every truck. Just spoke about the payload and compared it to just about every vehicle alive. Admitted at least 5 time now I should have paid attention the payload. Gave a very valid reason for wanting a ‘specialized truck’ in the very first sentence of this...
What you all keep getting wrong and continue to ignore is that I did not buy this truck for hauling. That's why I never looked at the payload. I didn't buy a Mustang but I got the the payload of a one. 4 guys going fishing isn't 'hauling" but that puts this truck at max payload. Let's just...
"Tore me to sheds"...lol, you really showed me who's boss alright. Karen, you're butt hurt because I don't like something about your pride and joy. It hurts your ego and can't handle anyone simply putting out there that the truck has a huge flaw that shouldn't be overlooked. I overlooked it. I...
Jesus, you guys are like my wife with this shit. It's sitting in my driveway. I moved the trailer about 15 feet to work on it. It also has more weight behind the axle so it's actually negative hitch weight.
