I still think Ford will want to do whatever they can to keep MSRP under six figures. To some people, $99,999 looks a lot better than just $1 less than $100,000.
That’s awesome and at the same time frustrating for someone like me in AZ who only has access to junk 91 E15.
Patiently waiting for Goose to work up some tunes for this truck but I might end up just going with a JB4 so I can run E30.
No expert here, so feel free to lol, but any drawback to keeping the turbos hotter? If they need more heat, why are they liquid-cooled? Seems counter intuitive.
I’ve also heard of people using Vaseline or a similar thick petroleum type jelly to fill small cracks and chips in phone screens before being covered by tempered glass protector. Not sure how it would hold up under high temps, though. Maybe a clear high-temp RTV?
If no loss of functionality, you could try a dab of this:
Weldon #4 with Applicator Bottle - 1/4 Pint - 4oz - 10308 - 1 each https://a.co/d/1ooPfQd
Then cover it with one of these:
KYKR Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector Compatible with 2021 2022 SYNC4 12 Inch Ford F150 F-150 - Anti Glare...
So, if I have this correct, you are telling people you will get them a Raptor R at MSRP as long as they are willing to wait, otherwise take their chances elsewhere and risk paying ADM?
What does your trailer weigh and what is the tongue weight?
I’ve been towing a 20’ travel trailer from the valley (Phoenix) to the AZ mountains (1,000’ to about 8,000’+) The trailer empty weighs about 4100# with a tongue weight of about 570#.
With my wife and I, a full tank of gas, a 2500W...
Are you saying you’ll (dealer) be able to get allocations for 7 or more R’s at MSRP as long as people are willing to wait?
If so, sign me up. I have a 2021 Oxford White 37PP I’ll need to sell.
As long as R sticker is under six figures, I’ll only need to come up with about $4K since KBB on my...
Ford CA has Bronco Raptor at $99,995 not $141,000, which makes more sense when compared to the F-150 Raptor price.
You must have been looking at a dealer markup or something?
That’s crazy! Seems backwards. I wonder why the Bronco is so much more than it is in the US? I wouldn’t think the Bronco would be more than the F-150.
MSRP
Here, Bronco Raptor is $68,500 and a loaded F-150 Raptor is about $87,000
I think Raptor R will be around $95,000 US.
All good. I read OP’s question as more specifically regarding the hitch, not the overall tow rating.
And you’re obviously right about not increasing the tow rating with a WD hitch. They can allow you to pull a heavier trailer by reducing tongue weight and thereby helping to keep payload...
By the way, I’ve been using the Andersen WD hitch on my truck pulling about a 5000# travel trailer with a tongue weight of about 600#. Works great. The truck still squats about 3/4” in the rear, so I might eventually go with some higher initial-rate rear coils when they are available.
Good luck.
E85 has an octane of 100-105.
Ethanol % varies based on location (there’s an acceptable range for both), but let’s assume Your 91 pump gas has 10% (E10) and your E85 is E70 (70% ethanol and 30% gasoline).
Using a 36 gallon tank, we will fill with 26 gallons of 91 (E10) and 10 gallons of 102...
