    Confused with lights!

The DD Pro Drivers are SAE if you get them in white, but I don’t think the combo or spot is and I don’t think they offer a cornering light.

    Radio Installs

Glad it helped! That was my hope for this thread! Post up your install once you get in done. Yeah, I was able to trim up all the excess coax eventually, but needed to get my hands on the right crimpers. I ended up borrowing some from a buddy. But, you are exactly right!

    Best paint protection

I used Graphene Ceramic Coating™ Advanced on the Raptor, which is a regularly applied coating not a spray. To me why put all the work into prep if you have to do it annually like a spray would require? This coating claims 9+ years. While it might not last that long, it will certainly last...

    Confused with lights!

Curious what you are basing this opinion on? Looking at Diode SS3s and Baja Squadrons they physically are not that different. Do you get more returns with the SS3s? The performance on the SS3 is definitely better.

    Hidden winch for raptor gen3

Nice. Will you do it yourself or have a shop build it for you?

    Hidden winch for raptor gen3

I'd like to, but I haven't found an option for the Raptor and the ones for the regular F-150 appear that you lose a bunch of clearance. The only decent solution I've seen was a build thread on FRF GEN 2 forum where the guy fabricated something himself.

    Hidden winch for raptor gen3

I'm doing a rear hitch mount. Went with a Warn ZEON 10S Multi-Mount winch kit, Warn Interrupter and Swarfworks cables. Got it all installed last weekend, but it appears the solenoid from the interrupter kit was bad, so I have a replacement coming. Once I get it sorted, I'll post something.

    Confused with lights!

To answer this question specifically, yes, I removed the factory fogs and completely replaced them with three pairs of Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Standard series lights. My reasoning for doing this first was: 1) It appeared to me the OEM fogs were basically useless, so they were just taking up...

    Confused with lights!

Another good resource is to get on the manufacturers' websites and/or YouTube channels and take in the videos, which explain their product lines, uses, technology, etc. In addition, John @Specialtyperformanceparts has a ton of useful videos explaining the products they carry and how to install...

    Reverberation in door speaker

Thanks for the info. I need to spend some time and play with the system.

    Reverberation in door speaker

Thanks, I'll try that, but it seems if the bass is set to 0 already it should be able to handle it without distortion. Is that not correct? And why would I not hear it from the passenger side?

    Reverberation in door speaker

I've got the base system and I'm getting a reverberation coming from the driver door speaker with more intense lows/bass (not all the time/all frequencies). I'm not noticing from the passenger side, but I'm not sitting right next to it either. Is this normal for this system? It sounds like...

Gen 3 Diamondback HD Hard Tonneau Cover

Yes, as @Ta2punk indicated, just a quick half flip of the tab on the gas struts to disconnect one end, lay the cover over the opposite one and bungee cord it open. Takes about 30 secs. I've had no issues running it like this when hauling furniture and the like even on the highway.

Rigid Radiance Scene Rear Lights Installed

Thanks! Yeah, you don't have to power the backlights if you don't want. You are exactly correct. You've got a few options with @Specialtyperformanceparts harnesses.

    Gen 3 with Standard speakers?

I think it sounds fine. It's better than the "upgraded" Bose system in my Cayman S.

    Thoughts on Vizualogic DVD headrests?

You must be talking about Jim Ellis Ford! I ended up going with a dealer in PA for MSRP after talking to them and a bunch of others in the area for my '21. I'm in Johns Creek as well. I don't have any experience with the headrest monitors, but thought I'd say hi!

    Any recommendations for a dashcam?

If anyone is looking for a driving enthusiast style dash cam, I really like the Waylens Horizon. I have a couple and have run them in my Cayman and BMW 2 Series. To give you an idea of their capability, here are a couple videos I made from a Porsche Rally held in the TN/NC area. It might be...

    Tomar TRX series.

Ok, I can see it now. They don't detail it, but it appears the relays are internal to the lights, so you run power from the battery and a ground (to the frame) and then you connect your control function wires to the upfitter switches. In this case you can choose to power whatever functions you...

    Tomar TRX series.

The link is not working to the install instructions, but you should be able to run it through its own relay and to one upfitter instead of using multiple switches. Or, you could break it up any way you want with multiple relays. Like a 40 inch light bar, I'd imagine a single relay would...
