The 20% off deal is awesome. I actually purchased mine during a previous sale and let them sit in the garage until I needed a brake change because you don't see discounts like that very often. When I swapped mine I did the whole package from Freedom as suggested above along with the SDHQ brake...
I have both the factory carpet ones and weather techs. I only put the carpet mats in if I was driving people around in town and wanted my truck to look "nicer". That's not really possible now with a roof rack, headers and lights everywhere. Better to have a second car with carpet mats.
I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery and hoping I'm in the batch that went out the other day. I should probably schedule some driving time with it before Snoball. It should be fun in the ice up there.
I'm an idiot and can't seem to make the clip in my earlier post work. I don't know that the exhaust makes any quantifiable difference with HP gains. I seem to recall that 3'ish horsepower difference is all you would expect from something like this.
Mine is loud, even for the 24" because of the...
Here is a cold start video of the 24" Dirty Deeds with SW headers. Unfortunately the driving video from inside the cab was shit and it was raining so I couldn't get a decent drive by clip yet.

I use a 1660 also. I'm actually thinking about downsizing to a smaller case and mounting the jack and a few other items separately. It would be nice to carry 2 full size spares in the bed, with the other stuff, all under a cover. The quest for the perfect setup continues.
I'm out of town until next week but I'll try to get a clip of mine. I've got a 24" system with SW Headers. It's a bit louder than just the catback but it's still not bad. Overall it's the best sounding exhaust of the local Raptors I've heard.
Cool pics. How does the rack attach to the bed? I've toyed around with doing something like this before just to get the additional space but I enjoy being able to lock the bed items down.
You can get the Dorman's on Amazon shipped next day. These are an easy fix. If someone can do it balls deep in a snowdrift at the Snoball you can knock this out in your driveway in less than an hour per side.
Good luck!
I've got Stainless works with a 24" dirty deeds "lightening style" exhaust fab'ed in. I tore off the stock exhaust that I was originally running with the SW headers.
When I purchased everything it was my intention to run the headers and dirty deeds exhaust together, which would have required...
The wind deflector edges don't contact the roof with the supplied brackets. I'd have to do some serious bending of the brackets to make the deflector contour to the roof. I know some of the other guys have cut the wind deflector to the roof contour, or messed with the brackets, but I haven't had...
After months of it taking up space in my garage I finally installed mine. Very easy install overall. I still need to throw some lights up there and complete the wiring but that's gonna have to wait a month or two until I can be at home and knock it out. The wind deflector install sucks. I'll...
I've got a SCREW for all the reasons mentioned above. Unless you absolutely need the reduced size it is much nicer having the big truck. I recently took my SCREW on a trip with a bunch of toyota people and handily drove over much of their crawling terrain in 2WD. Shit they had to get into 4LO to...
I got the same letter. I'll dump the stock tune back in the truck about a week before I take it in for service and then as soon as I get it back I guess I'll undo whatever they did by putting the tune back in it. lol
I figure I have a few months to see what the real impact will be.
Thanks for the reply. This is the exact info I was looking for. I'd love to see your setup. I'm still trying to figure out a direction to go now that what I have won't work. Maybe DD would be willing to make another one?
it looks like I could make the current DD 24" system work by making a...
I think the lighting options you need are more regionally focused. In the southeast there are very few places where I need a really long range spot like I would want in the desert. I've tried a couple different options on my truck and am sticking with the Whelen micro pioneers. They really light...
Headers are pretty much done. Just trying to figure out the exhaust options. It appears that lots of cutting and welding will be needed to make this setup work.
