Yup true story. I had never used mine in fear of breaking the window. I pulled the connection and confirmed last winter that the mirrors in fact still work/are ran off the same button.
Is there trail maps of the areas? Or is it more of a free-for-all drive around?
Curious to see what it's like come summer. Some of the pictures and video make it look fairly crowded. I'd hate to be hauling ass around that place with people on mountain bikes and quads all over the place.
Good...
On each side of the window you can unplug the heating element. This will allow you to still use the heated mirrors without worry of the back window exploding. You will loose the indicator light on the console but they will still work.

Mine did the same thing right around that exact millage after a rebuild. One of the know-it-all's here in the North East did mine. I suspect he did yours too. I think I saw a picture of your truck he posted awhile ago on FB. Turns out he used some subpar O-rings/seals that turned to...
HOLESHOT and BajaTaxi made one from a trailer hitch tow bar thing.
Not sure why you couldn't put it through the hole with the rubber grommet in the (in the second picture to the right of the amber light). Maybe bumper would block it? Seems like the best place. Not having done it myself I don't know.
I too am rocking the OEM battery for 5.5 years now. I will probably go with NorthStar when the time comes. Pricey for sure, but hope it's one of the last I'll ever have to buy. Just waiting on it to finally die. I see people with OEM shitting out far sooner so at this point it's more of a game...
Do yourself a favor. Have that LineX'ed or similar coating in some sort of bed-liner before you put it on. If you are living in a salt and snow environment it will rust before spring. Their powered coating isn't exactly known to be of the best quality.
Hell even a non salt environment they...
Anyone considering the bumper or taillights? Go ahead and get them. I got the console safe and I am very happy. It was shipped immediately with everything as would be expected and over packaged. Great communication and easy transaction.
Thanks again Petro
It's probably because most all Subaru drivers are either dirty hippies, lesbians and/or both. They just hate how large and domineering your Raptor is and how environmentally conscious you are not.
I totally understand your situation. I too have to travel considerable distances to play. That's why I think a temporary solution may be best for you, considering how infrequent you may use it.
Red Ghost I agree with that assessment. I also find it cost prohibitive as well. You could try this route: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/rear-facing-amber-cargo-light-48121/
Stay factory looking. Not sure how well they work but seems like a great solution for you.
Fusco0520 that seems...
Experience.
I have followed people using the M&R set up. As well as similar placement with KC Cyclones. They simply are not bright enough to offer much good.
I have also followed people with ones flush mounted in their rear bumper, and below like you have them mounted. They are too low to...
You cannot replace just a LED. The whole light needs to be replaced. It is my understanding that it is welded together and cannot be opened without damaging it.
Red Ghost WhatExit? The miller light retains ALL factory functionality. It has the three red LED's that function with the headlights and brake lights. The white S2 on the right side functions as your normal bed light does. This has the added benefit of the amber S2 to be utilized as a dust...
Red Ghost Not sure which generation you have. But Miller Offroad Design has a slick set up for the 3rd brake light replacement. I have seen him add both ambers as opposed to just one white and one amber. I have followed a truck with this set up and it is really really bright. MILLER OFFROAD...
Personally I think they are great. I have had no problems balancing them. They have held up well with the little forest roads I can run on them. Really happy with the looks of them. Method's in general are over done but the Roosts are fewer and farther between so I like that.
I wish they had...
Hamm3r It was advertised on their website when I was looking around. I guess it was just luck that I was looking at the right time of year. I would kind of expect them to have some Labor Day sale though. Maybe hold out until Black Friday?
Also don't forget to go through Ebates as well. I got...
