how did they figure out that the shock was bad? was it just the noise that caused them to say it was bad?

I took mine to the dealer for the second time, noise is confirmed by the service dept and the owner of the dealership. The noise is more prominent in Baja mode, all but confirming something is wrong with the shocks. But they have no clue what to do without a tsb. It's obviously going to take...

same here, I can feel some sort of vibration through the floorboard

not only do I hear and feel something under the front of the truck, the suspension feels loose and unstable over bumpy terrain. does not feel solid at all.

mine is a 35 I assume not all 35s do this though

ok good info good that they took the time to figure that out of course my dealer seems to think my truck is just fine

I have the same issue posted on another thread. lets just keep updating and hopefully we get this figured out.

I'm pretty sure Ford has someone reading this forum, so the more we post about it the better the odds are that we get a fix

there is a tsb for the heat shields but that did not fix it, I asked about the sway bar links and I was told they are solid.

yea pretty frustrating to wait all this time and have a 90k truck that sounds like a beater. still at dealer they are having a hard time figuring it out.

I'm taking back to dealer Tuesday I will follow up after.

Has anyone else experienced a subtle clunking noise in their Gen 3 when driving slowly over bumpier terrain? My Gen 2 never did this it kind of sounds like my lifted Tundra from way back when!

yup, ford performance told me to contact them as well. I ordered a 37 from Waldorf Ford and crickets about a build date. I finally just cancelled the order.

5k over, so not horrendous. I called pretty much all over. I cancelled my trx order to get this. I had code orange selected and changed my mind to antimatter last minute. that dark blue exterior seems to make the most sense with the blue interior.

No deposit, I was told I could get my build done. But when it came time to actually put the order in one said I could only get a 35, the other said I would need to wait until 2022.

Yup two dealers told me I was good on the 37 package and both fell through.
