well got my truck back. issue was not the skid plate. their "chasis ears" could not pin point anything, even though the service advisor acknowledged the sound/vibration on the test drive. I may just buy new front shocks for 3700 installed as I love the truck and is way cheaper than trading it...

I'm now being told the cause is the underbody skid plate. I'll keep you all posted.

So mine is now in the shop for the third time. I am being told the likely culprit is the undercarriage skid plate vibrating. They said there is no fix from Ford and tried to give the truck back to me. I said to remove it to make sure that's the issue and then to get a ford engineer involved...

someone named Goldbeach on the clunking gen 3 suspension thread had his fox front "struts" replaced by the dealer and the clunk went away. taking mine to the dealer tomorrow, if they don't replace them I guess I'm gonna get rid of it.

any pics of the bronze wheels from further out?

I also spoke to guys at SVC and RPG and of course their test vehicles were just fine, no clunk

bottom line is Raptor should feel soft over bumps. Not only is mine extremely hard over bumps, I feel a vibration after going over bumps esp at lower speeds. taking it in next week and my plan is to have all 4 shocks replaced. we will see....

I suspected it was the front shocks, someone with the same issue had them replaced and clunking is gone

feels loose and unstable and clunks

it's not only clunk front suspension rides like crap compared to my 2018

so they replaced the entire coil over shock/strut?

that's good news. I assume you had the clunk/rattle esp at lower speeds over bumps correct? how did they pinpoint the front struts??

looks good u have any from a bit further out? you think 13.5 can fit w/ out rubbing??

how about from the front to see the offset relative to the wheel well?
