Towing with a scab, 37's, Deavers...

I guess I should add that the towing was unexpected one way from out of town to my house. When I first loaded it, it sat fine, we were leaving early the next morning and that night the back seat of the truck, the bed and the front of the car were packed full. It still looked ok but settled as we...

Towing with a scab, 37's, Deavers...

We just drove from Memphis to the coast of Al (420 miles) The truck has Eibachs, Deaver +4 hd's and Camburg 1" drop shackles. We were towing a Uhaul car hauler (2,200lbs) carrying a 2008 Honda CRV ( 3600lbs) the Honda was fully packed, front seat area included at approx 400lbs and the truck was...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Alright after some driving around, carrying stufv in the bed etc I finally found a fairly flat parking lot(who knew that was so hard?) It looks like the back is only about 1/4" higher. I am glad I went with the +4's and drop shackles now. If they settle much more I can swap tge shackles back to...

I have the front lsd and noticed it driving around in my yard. It's real, it tore up the grass pretty good scrubbing during tight turns.

    Ford GT with Akropovic exhaust

I read they are the same engine adapted for each application. The main differences were turbos, dry sump oil system and cams.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Not at this time, I am looking at hidden winch mounts either front or rear. I like dovetailed back and frame cut front so not sure which way I will go. I don't mind stock either so...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I think there is some rake but not bad. The weather isn't great right now but when I get a chance I will post a picture on flat ground with a couple measurements. I may be wrong but I expect the rear to settle a little more than the front.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Installed Deaver +4 hd's with Camburg 1" drop shackles, Eibach pro springs and 37 KM3's on Icon Rebound +6 wheels. Very happy with the results. I was pretty worried about the tires sticking out but they sit perfect imho.

What are the do's and don'ts of buying a used Cobb access port? Is it recommended to just start fresh or could it save a few bucks?

Ford GT40 3.5 and cam phasers

Does anyone know how closely related the GT40 engine is to the Raptor engine? Does it have better cam phasers that might work in our trucks? It's a long shot, just curious.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I got 2 of my new wheels today(fedex) they look awesome but they're 0 offset and I don't think I want any tread poking out. I saw a 1st gen in person with 0 offset methods and they looked fine but I keep looking at pictures of gen 2's with the tread sticking out...ugh. I got KMC Grenade Crawl...

Which is why I was excited to see KAH speak to the math involved. Silly me thinking he knew of what he spoke about.

2020: Two Warranty Case Studies & Good Video

And here is where I asked earlier in the conversation. As you can clearly see I am currently running 40's I jumped my truck over a church bus full of nuns, bent the frame, returned it to stock and I am currently at the dealership denied warranty so instead I am trading it in for 75k. It's...

2020: Two Warranty Case Studies & Good Video

Sure, what is the difference in force needed to rotate a 120lb 35" tall tire and a 90lb 37" tall tire. Use the force applied to or from the axle at 2" diameter if that helps.

2020: Two Warranty Case Studies & Good Video

I will specify, the axle shaft, lets go with 2" diameter, oem wheels, one has a 35" tire weighing 89lbs and the other a 37" tire weighing 69lbs. Total weight to make things easier 35 with wheel 120lb, 37 with wheel 90lb. What force is put on said axle to get each one rolling all other aspects...

2020: Two Warranty Case Studies & Good Video

Like cam phasors? Just kidding... All that is great and may apply if we could find someone wanting to argue about the forces larger heavier tires exerted on say a unit bearing, a ujoint or any number of parts and why larger tires may be reason for denial of coverage. Thankfully non of it...
