It's never a good idea to finance. If you have the money to buy it cash then do it. If you have to think about whether using all your cash is a good idea compared to financing then your particular situation dictates that you can't afford it.
Obviously it's your prerogative how you spend...
It's just a thinly veiled level of privacy. To be fair, any of us can be threatened by identity crimes if someone were motivated. The internet opens everything up and makes any of our lives/identities vulnerable.
Just because I don't post my social security number here on the forum doesn't...
Great to hear! Was your Roush on your truck from the factory? If so, Ford shouldnt be so difficult about honoring warranties.
Also, did you have to get Ford customer service involved to win the fight?
Within the first couple weeks of ownership, my mailman and lawn maintenance guy went out of their way to tell me "Nice Truck!"
My Lawn maintenance guy even said that he wants/needs to get a truck like the Raptor one day.

Agreed. Not to sound like a broken record or cliche, but for me personally, if it had the V8, it would be significantly more difficult for me to not want to buy a Gen 2.
That said, the gen 1s are fantastic and superior (in my opinion) on looks alone. I feel blessed and proud every day I...
Totally agree with you on the looks and iconic stature of the Gen 1s. They are just too distinctive that even non-truck/car enthusiasts do a double take and wonder "what kind of a truck is that? something about it looks different from the other trucks I see on the road."
Also, this is...
I bought my 2013 SCREW last September and just paid it off last month. I definitely plan on keeping my gen 1 for a long time. It's my daily driver and I just don't think the truck will ever get old on me. It's a classic and iconic.
I've said before that Ford absolutely nailed it with the Gen...
Just out of curiosity can anyone tell what type of supercharger is on this gen 1? It seems really fast (not that I care about drag racing). Just curious.

Yep and I tried answering a call with the steering wheel and still had to revert to the "handset" to "SYNC" workaround to get it to work.

Weird thing is when I answered with the steering wheel, I could hear...
I'll try it today. By the way, do you always wait in PARK about a minute or so upon startup to allow for the iPhone to sync completely?
I haven't been able to see a status difference whether I wait or not.
David
Is there a difference between answering calls from steering wheel and touching the "ACCEPT" button on the screen?
I've actually never answered from the steering wheel. I should try it to see if it works.
David
For the record, today I started up the truck and waited in PARK well over a minute. My 911 assist is set to on as well as a default. After waiting well over a minute, I did not see any difference in syncing/connection status.
No notification with the 911 assist. In fact, it shows "Iphone...
